I catch my kid many times in the act or before they do stuff just like my mother did me cause I don’t give them enough privacy for them to feel too much liberty to think they can do anything without having to answer to me and that teaches them accountability cause they can’t just mess up and when I ask why they say “I don’t know” they have to explain even if it makes them feel stupid; now my kids are responsible adults with careers.
