I completely agree! Those beignets! So good. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

I usually stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. I sleep comfortably. But eat and drink on a budget. Commerce is a couple blocks up from the south exit of the hotel. That CBB is a little spicy, but you can’t put the fork down!! A great breakfast. Great specials and prices. Their shrimp po boy and red beans & rice are amazing. Luke’s is out the front entrance of the hotel. It’s usually pretty busy there. But I will make it there early for happy hour next trip.

Thanks for the recommendation! The BBQ shrimp looks pretty good. The oysters bienville looks interesting as well.

These places are expensive and not always as good as other less expensive places. #TouristTraps Tip: Ask the hotel staff (not concierge, as they sometimes get a kickback for recommending places) where are the good restaurants that the locals like.

Please say the name of the city correctly!! Locals will laugh at you if you say NEW-OAR-LEENS!! It's pronounced NEW-OAR-LINZ!! The last person who could pronounce it that way without it being dorky was Louis Armstrong & he's been dead for 48 years. Also watch some KZread videos about the pronunciation of the street names. It'll help you out alot!!
