Out of the millions of German troops and 100,000s of foreign volunteers, the fact that he only said this to Degrelle says a lot about the man!

"At a time when a world is failing, souls are needed as tough and tall as rocks that the raging waves will beat in vain." Léon Degrelle, the burning souls. Sorry, it's translated from French with google trad. Nice vid as always, Zoomer.
I have a video of Degrelle speaking of his legions action kn the Eastern front when he was an older man in Spain. I have watched it at least 4 times. The bravery, leadership, and loyalty he showed should go down as prime examples for officers and soldiers alike. May God rest his soul.

⚡A man's man. Likely a genius. Great stuff. I must express my awe at the amazing photographs and incredible footage that you and so many other youtubers show. Far beyond any mainstream documentary. (and not totally falsified as nearly all have become.). The footage is so good that I am distracted from the narration and have to replay many parts.

His book is available at antelope Hill publishing, very worth reading
Degrelle wrote a very readable (IMO) book entitled "My Revolutionary Life" that delves into some elements of prewar history. It is worth a look, if only to help understand what motivated him. IIRC, it was intended to be part of a series, but he died before any other installments were produced.
Inspiring..if only we could find such honor and bravery again within ourselves

@TheVampyr
3 ай бұрын
Not really an option. Its nothing but ensuring none of the Praetorians of National Socialism survived. Look at the Dutch SS volunteers. They were jailed, and voluntold for the Dutch UN Battalion that fought in Korea. The Dutch Battalion was attached to the US 2nd Infantry Division (fought in all three years of the war) and suffered heavy casualties. Look at the Azov Brigade in Ukraine today, they’re allowed to exist by the West, because it serves as a brain drain for modern followers of the ideal. The West knows Ukraine would never win the war. Yet they encourage volunteers to go over there. They’re betting on killing the younger idealists (The Liberal Orders number one threat).

Narration is too fast. You need to take a breath.
If you pronounce Volkssturm like you would in English folk-storm, it would actually be closer to the German pronunciation. Just a tip, I love your videos thanks a lot!
Does anyone know where his kids are today? I know he has grandkids too I believe. Would love to know.
I believe what Himmler meant when he was his regards wasn’t that one day the Nazis would rise again and that Degrelle would need to mentor them but rather that Himmler understood that Germany would never really raise again after the war(at least not for a long while) and that when he said ‘everything would change quickly’ he meant that post war Germany would be nothing like the Germany they are fighting for/lived in. His remarks to him being needed likely meant that he needs him to spread the truth and actual message on what old Germany was like instead of letting the allies completely control the narrative of old Germany.
Yo zoomer historian, I’m just wondering how do you have 42k subs yet you’ve had no where near that number of views yet. Did you used to make more mainstream videos on here to gain that large following?? Also I’m wondering how old you are, I’m 23 from Yorkshire you sound quite young
