You see it everyday at soda fountains like McDonald's. You can see the joy of American as they filled their large paper cups 3/4 full with ice-cubes and 1/4 soda.

You can go to any one corner of my city and find a crackhead that says the same thing a bag of ice makes everything better

It must feel SO amazing for an elephant to be essentially weightless under water. Also, just wonderful to watch all these critters just enjoying the moment with their keepers cheering them on. :)

In this crazy World (while being totally against conventional zoos and anything even remotely related to meddling with what nature intended), I still appreciate places like this that seem to really care for these souls while sparing them a life of constant struggle to survive! Wish I could live in Oregon cause it sounds like really fun but I'm unfortunately stuck in Italy.

The "Rascality" and Cuteness are absolutely priceless.

They seem so relaxed and a lot more playful without the crowd of people.

What an amazing experience for the care takers.these animals are a gift to all of us💚🙏🏼💚

The Oregon Zoo is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! A high level of love and care for the animals

The bird in the aquarium is my favorite because both those animals look very intrigued 😂

I was waiting for one of the otters to pop up and shout “bazinga!”

I love how the animals aren't confined to "their space" and they get to roam around the zoo with their human buddies 👍😃

i've never been to the oregon zoo and it looks like an amazing zoo, but a lot of zoos are allowing animals to roam around the zoo during quarantine when the zoos were closed. again, i'm not discounting oregon zoo since it's a great zoo but you shouldn't discount other zoos for doing it too

The birds belly tickle was the biggest surprise of this video. All of it was awesome. But that bird putting up its legs in enjoyment lol... Priceless

Any one know what kind of bird that was, enjoying the belly rub? Seeing elephants swim was a wonderful site to see. It's amazing to me they can float. All the animals were looking happy and well cared for. Their habitats looked so lush and clean. The animals with orange brown fur, ringed tails were so cute with their masked faces.

Thank you zookeepers for taking care of these precious creatures. I grew up in Portland and the zoo has come a very very long way from what it was 50 years ago. I don’t even want to remember what I saw. I’m so glad that we’ve learned how to better share our world with these animals and enrich their lives with more natural habitat and “field trips” to other habitats. 💕💕

Nice to see how playful and interested they are, seems like they are in great care. The way the animals just trotted along outside their normal enclosure showed how much they trust the keepers and feels at home

That’s partly because they really work hard for their animals. AZA accreditation is very difficult to achieve and zoos like this one have to go well beyond just the usual.

Oh my, I so very much love how every critter is given a chance to experience the outside and be themselves as much as possible! They're excellently cared for and have a great quality of life. Thank you for this. They're so beautiful, each and every one💖🙂!

Well there's all kinds of categories for awards, like best mud bather, best ice cruncher, best treehopper , most unique beautiful look; I give that to Sharpie hands down! It would be hard to decide on the cutest and the biggest rascal. I continue to look forward to your videos as one of my favorite channels. It helps me feel connected to my home state Oregon.

My son is forever the overlord of rascality.

Animals are much more interesting and more beautiful than any humans I've met so far

Instant party: otters and ice, don't bother to stir. Love the walks around the zoo; the porcupines and penguins always make me laugh. I never realized how big ground hornbills are- I think that guy's as big as my three-year-old niece!

I absolutely needed this! It's kinda gloomy here in Germany this time of year. After a week of mayhem it just felt good to see animals at play. Thank you for this Oregon Zoo. May your year be filled with returning visitors desperately looking to get back to nature ... and watching elephants smashing pumpkins.

Of course, the beaver took the stick home.

You all provide such wonderful engagement for the animals in your charge. Maple and Filbert are my favorites, and the porcupine.

The bear reminds me of the scene in Robin Men in Tights when Little John falls in the creak and freaks out saying he's drowning in 6 inches of water!

I’m assuming because people don’t like animals to be kept in Cages, they should be free in nature as God intended. I hate the “it brings awareness” excuse. The Zoo makes money if not they shouldn’t be subsidized.
