At 2:11 the entrance of the King, wow! Mrs. Lioness goes running to him and greets him with a paw and a kiss and fusses over him. Awww as if she was telling him "oh honey come here and sit with me at the balcony, lets take some sun" and Mr, Lion is like "Not now" the expression on her face is priceless. Mean while the kids are watching all of this.🦁 She will have him sleep on the grass for that.🤣🤣🤣

Actually that’s not the case. Like, at all. You could not have been more wrong if you tried. Besides, white lions may have a harder time hunting in the wild due to their bright coloration; they will be easier for prey to spot, allowing them to escape and the lions to starve. Please stop spreading misinformation. If a lion is bred in captivity it is not “missing the wild”. You can’t miss what you never experienced, and the wild DEFINITELY is not a sunshine rainbows save haven for lions. In addition, the body language of these lions suggests that they are quite content. "There are no boundaries": It's exceedingly rare for a male lion to kill his own cubs because the females won't allow it. If another male comes along and kills cubs to bring the female(s) back into estrus, it's because the FEMALE(S) intuit a better breeder and ALLOW it. It's safe to say that humans deviate from the rest of the animal kingdom because we are the ONLY species that DOESN'T run on feminism, you ignorant bozo.

I always love to see when the mother runs to make sure the father isnt doing anything too aggressive when asserting himself as king over his cubs. Her calmness proves that the father isnt being overly aggressive towards the cubs in his assertion of dominance as king

Dude it is human beings who calls the male lion, King and female lion, Queen. He on his part is merely fulfilling the role of a father. That's all. So there is no 'dominance of king' or stuff like that. It is just human imagination.

@@siyarg.4900 You do realise that the video you are seeing here is shot at a zoo and not in the natural habitat of lions?! Besides, I see no pride here. The male lion shown in this video has no competition from other male lions. There is just one adult male lion, one adult female lion and few cubs of varying ages. That's it. A lion pride is much more diverse and much larger with lots of lion families, competition for territory, natural hunting behaviour by lionesses and so on. This video shows one lion family surviving in a zoo and not an entire lion pride living their lives in their natural habitat. First, see the video properly. This video is titled "Life at the Zoo" not "observing the Lion Pride in their natural habitat". The video uploaders have just termed the male lion and female lion as King and Queen to inspire the imagination of viewers and make them connect this video to the animation movie "Lion King" or some other movie like that. Seems like you became their ideal target.

The mother in the wild will not introduce her Cubs to the daddy until the Cubs are3-4 months old. She would try to protect the cubs, but the female is no real match for a male and if he chose to kill a cub, he would.

It's unbelievable how healthy these lions look. You hardly ever see lions and cubs this big and healthy in the wild when they have to struggle to survive. The people who are against captivity have no idea the nice life these lions have compared to being in the wild.

true but wild is where they belong. If you keep them captive for millennia, evolution will fuq everything up. Injured or disabled animals in captivity is fine. But healthy, fully capable ones in captivity is wrong against nature.

I have never ever seen such a magnificent animal as the adult male lion. He looks very soft and gentle 🥺

They are pack animals. They survive in packs, typically with one male lion and several females and cubs. Their families are called prides in the wild.

Having just watched this video, l love all big cats, this family of lions do look well & l can see that they are very well looked after. It's just that I prefer to see lions living in the wild, they simply deserve better!!!

Male lion is truly magnificent, like some legendary king. And the lioness is huge, one of the biggest one i ever saw.

They're so beautiful. The only thing that makes me smile anymore is animals.

I love that the male's name is Booba. It's probably only silly to me because I'm an English speaker, and I would guess "Booba" means something completely ordinary and non-goofy in the language it originates from. But it's cute nonetheless, I love cats with silly names no matter their size.
