Thanks for your Bangkok visit. My city still has many problems to solve, which would be inconvenient for travelers, but it’s getting better every year.

correction about poverty PHILIPPINES that you highlighted only in the PHILIPPINES😅. for your information all of countries in SOUTH EAST ASIA has huge poverty like MALAYSIA, THAILAND, VIETNAM, INDONESIA and CAMBODIA. but you only emphasized Philippines which is not fair though.

Hi! That is true, there is a lot of poverty all across south East Asia. And you are quite right for pointing that out thank you. A reason why the cost of living is so much lower all across south East Asia than many other places. The Philippines is however the country where WE experienced it the most and where we found it the most visible in our day to day life, apart from Cambodia. But that was only our experience. According to the 2023 report Cambodia and Vietnam does have a lower GDP than the Philippines. That being said we LOVED the Philippines and can’t wait to explore it more! Your country is so big and beautiful and we met some of the kindest people there! Thank you for watching and pointing that out :)

@@KinfolkTravels well, maybe you never roamed the slum and poverty area of KL, bangkok, jakarta And Phnom penh which also alot. and just so you know MANILA CBD like BGC, MAKATI, ORTIGAS and ect. are one of the well planned, modern, organized with friendly pedestrian sidewalks in the world. also great urban layout where green space like parks are everywhere. while CBDs in Bangkok, jakarta, are not as great as MANILA and meanwhile for KL I know it is quite advance in some aspects like infrastructure and transportations as compare to Manila but without those iconic tall skyscrapers of KL like petronas and merdeka i think Manila CBDs most particularly BGC is far more superior. its really looks like singapore or Miami downtown. in addition, speaking of poverty be updated that even 1st world country like England and USA has alot of poverty and even higher than Philippines lol😂 for example t England a 1st world country but as of 2023 the poverty rate of England is at 22% or equivalent to 15million british are living in poverty this digit is even worst than PHILIPPINES poverty which only 16%😂 meaning alot of people living poor in England right now as compare to the PHILIPPINES and if you roamed london alot are homeless people, very dirty, and very unsafe , looks underdevelope as compare to SOUTH EAST ASIAN cities. and lastly, California a rixhest state in USA. but almost half of there population are under poverty also very dirty state, alot of homeless andbeggars.very 3rd world looks. anyways you can search these info to prof you. 😊 Thank you

@@KinfolkTravelsagree poverty here in Phil is much visible with huge slums and children on the streets begging. Not surprising because we also holds the 2nd most populated countries in SEA of 113M Filipinos 2nd to Indonesia so expect the poverty is much visible and frequent in all angles compared to neighboring countries which also has poverty but not to the extent like Phil. which is much desparate looking.

This might have just been in some specific areas and I’m sure it’s not everywhere :)

How do you know if the place you visited had high crime rates? Were you mugged to give such scores?

Fortunately we were not mugged. Coming from a high crime country myself we are however very wary of crime. We heard quite a few stories about crime and were warned as well as sometimes feeling a little unsafe in some areas.

You must be living in area that full of immigrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, india, Mynmar and Arabs when you are in KL.😢 Jakarta & Bangkok Safety 3.5/5 vs Kuala Lumpur 2.5/5 ? You can check the statistic : crime and homicide rate in these 3 Asean cities to know the answer.
