AMAZED BY KUALA LUMPUR! 🇲🇾 A PERFECT WELCOME TO SOUTH EAST ASIA! (Kuala Lumpur Vlog)
What a welcome to South East Asia!!! 😍🇲🇾
We had no idea what to expect about Kuala Lumpur, but we loved since the minute we arrived. What a great feeling to be in a place with such diverse culture, where the people are extremely kind & welcoming and with incredible food!
This is the beginning of a new travel series guys. Welcome to Malaysia! We are very excited to share more of this amazing and underrated country!
XO,
Aimara & Gordon
★ HOW TO GET TO THE BATU CAVES?
1. By train: KTM Komuter Train from KL Central: $3.50, round trip.
2. By bus: several buses will head to the Batu Caves from KL, though the exact bus will depend on where you are in the city. It’s cheap (less than $1.00 per person) but slow.
3. Grab (like Uber): we paid $6 each way. It took about 30 minutes.

Islam is the religion of the federation, but individual states have sovereign rights over religion such as in the case of Sabah and Sarawak whom are predominantly Christians/Catholics. The majority race are muslims however we are technically not an Islamic country as Islamic laws are only applicable to muslims and the highest courts legal system is based on British common law and supercedes Shariah law All other races and religion are also protected in our constitution.

@@MereDustOnEarthwelcome to Malaysia. Its the best to discover Asia in short time. KL just like miniature for China, South East Asia and India. In fact now there's little Tokyo and Seoul around ampang Road and ampang area. Doesn't meant everyone happy about that but have to realised impact of economic and geographical factors. For those who interested in more extreme and natural environment, just take flight to East Malaysia. There are highest peak, longest river, biggest cave, the biggest flower, also longest trail for jungle trekking.. even the most amazing waterfall far in the jungle. Its really an amazon vibes but in South East Asia. 😊👍
Been to Malaysia 6 times and I will say KL is my favourite city and I have travelled to many cities across the globe. KL is such a beautiful city

Kudos on your travel vlog A & G, well done and editing/sound/info is very viewer-friendly. (loved the multi-facet shot of the Towers from Saloma Bridge, drone, and Traders Hotel) Astute choice too on KL as a first stop to the region, I always say it's a great gateway city into Asia. Not too extreme, not too confronting, just Goldilocks territory. Beautiful food, beautiful people (almost always good language understanding* in the major towns/cities). Multi-ethnic diversity makes it a perfect 'sampling' plate for first time travellers to the continent. Malaysia, truly Asia. * 7:20 notwithstanding🤫 Aimara's "Ay ay ay!" at 14:35 😂 NB. Thank you for not featuring the over-exposed Jalan Alor.

Hi! Thank you so much! ❤️ Welcome to the WOTW fam! We have been having a blast and yes, it's so safe here ☺️ We love Malaysia! 🇲🇾
The Taman Connaught night market is huge but I actually prefer the one in Jalan Alor. There are street singing, bars, restaurants, etc. Jalon Alor during night time is so vibrant. The Connaught night market is very quiet because Taman Connaught is near a residential area. So I guess they have to be respectful to the people living there. Anyway enjoy your stay. PS : Aimara looks like a Malay girl 😅
