Used to fly with it off for this reason. I’ve started keeping it on for the slightest possibility that if I lose an engine I can get a relight. The fuel loss has been worth

The VTOL community is outstanding

For the top gun accurate v3 mission, you are able to go full afterburner the whole time. It’s fun being in g-lock half the mission

I had so much fun, the carrier deck de-sync killed me more than the enemy fighters tho.

I use a link cable. Airlink works well, but every once in a while I’ll get a bit of lag or artifacting. The link cable never gives me that, and I don’t move around enough to feel restricted

I only use head tracking for AIRS-T’s. You can change them to head tracking mode in the equip page, then set them to trigger uncage on the same page

@@soxfox1176 it allows you to focus the sight on a target. Once you’ve got a targets tone, you pressing the trigger will focus the sight on them so you don’t have to keep staring at them. Pressing the B button will fire a missile
