@@crosstian look on youtube for the 90's stuff, tiff needell era top gear when it was much more a CAR show than the entertainment/celebs and sports cars stuff. there was a blond woman and mike something was the used car market specialist, Vicki and tiff both worked on top gear, hell most of the guys that later became 5th gear did. it died because Tiff was a twat with someones supercar and wrote it off and insurance refused to payout becuse he ignored the owners instructions if I remember rightly.

James is the only one I watch this for. The other two started off aknowledging it was a consumer programme but were eventually written into more flamboyant and pretentious characters (don't get me wrong, it works) but they kept James as James and I love him.

It wasn't Captain Cook, he was only the one who made a fuss about it. Same as Australia, if a country had nothing to offer The Dutch pretty much didn't care about it. The Dutch ruled the waves, The Brits only had a bigger Navy, as you would expect with a larger population. The Brits stole everything the Dutch had stolen :P But yeah, 'Brittania rules the waves' sure kid. The Dutch were the Frontier, Brittania followed, pretty much everywhere. 'But be happy with The Falklands, what a claim, spectacular!' Said no one on earth.

That Dutch bike thing looks awesome, & as an Australian you'd have to be up your tree to miss the place, it gets you thinking about an alternate history & it doesn't look so bad.
