Top 7 MOST DANGEROUS Animals in Tennessee
Happy Monday everyone! Today I want to tell you about the Top 7 MOST DANGEROUS Animals in Tennessee.
These animals made the list not because they'll kill you but because the likelihood of you meeting one face to face is greater than any other dangerous animal we might have in the state. For example, we have four poisonous snakes in TN but only two made this list because their population is larger and the account of bites from these two greatly outnumber the bites from the other two.
So, we're going to do a deep dive into these 7 Dangerous Animals in Tennessee from how to recognize them, what will happen if you're attacked, and what to do if you are a victim.
Can you guess which seven deadly animals made the list? Watch to find out.

The two snakes I left off the list are cottonmouth snakes and pygmy snakes. We also have coyotes but they're super timid and rarely ever approach humans. One animal that isn't deadly but you will run into a lot is skunks. They might not kill you but if you get sprays or (more likely) your dog does, you will wish you were dead. What do you think? In fact, what did you think of my presentation? This was the first video where I didn't use a teleprompter with a prewritten script. I used an outline. Saved me a lot of hours in writing but also added more time to editing out my screw-ups. Anyway...I hope you liked the video. Please comment with your thoughts below.

I think it's fine not using a teleprompter especially if it saves a lot of time. I remember wild boars from Germany, they used to chase us on our bikes and are definitely not fun !

Bruh.. my buddy and I were circled on some train tracks by some coyotes in effing Knoxville 😂😂 we was throwing rocks and my dude ended up getting a big ass stick and all I had was a rusty rail road spike and rocks. I was terrified man cause I was small af back then

1 in 5 striped skunks has rabies and will not show symptoms nor will they die from it, they've developed a genetic immunity, along with the chances of airborne exposure, and their wide range skunks are a larger threat in Tennessee than the spiders we have

@sethferguson5000 yes a pack of coyotes will come after you normally If it's just one they will run away unless it's got rabies
Sasquatch are also in the smoky mountains 😁

Yes, but they aren't dangerous.
I’d like to add chiggers to this list. They may not kill you but you will scratch yourself to a bloody mess.
excdellent information. thanks.
I ride a dirtbike and I see copperheads, bears, elk and wild boars all the time. I'm most concerned with Mountain Lions.
We have guns in Tennessee an bug spray 🤣 we not worried bout them animals but this was interesting I like it

Thanks.
The Florida Panther is in Tennessee, It has migrated from Florida and has been found all the way up to Maine. Also Timber Wolves are also in Tennessee near the North Carolina boarder.
You left off a few snakes and forgot that panthers, mountain lion, cougars, and screamers are all the same thing. The Florida panther is the only subspecies of cougar native to the southeastern united States that still exists, the ones currently being found in Tennessee are most likely of the western subspecies due to the fact that the majority of confirmed sightings have been in west and middle Tennessee and the fact that the last eastern mountain lion in Tennessee was killed in the early 1920s and were declared nationally extinct 12 years ago. East Tennessee mountain lions are about as real as the red wolf packs they claim still roam cades cove and clingmans dome area

@@BenBarredo not a problem!😁 Always do proper research before making posts like this, misinformation is a danger to wildlife and in a state where many of our native species are at risk of bein lost forever it is important now more than ever that we give accurate information and teach best management practices to everyone who is now deciding to call this great state home so we can preserve it and restore it!
And Cougars
Lol the bear just run
There have been sightings of black panthers in Fayette county Tennessee
Thanks for saving my lunch! 💯👍

You bet!
We definitely have Cougars (same as panthers, mountain lions, puma depending on what part of U.S youre in)!! We've had them in our yard many times! And the Park Rangers for the most part aren't allowed to tell you that! I live near Paris Landing and part of National Park!
We also have Alligators in Tennessee.
Not going to look a spider in the eye😅 nope
Wild boar are way larger than 200#
A panther is a mountain lion.
Usual suspects moving from high crime areas aka Califuqyah , Memphis , Chicago , etc…. With our police with hands tied can’t stop these dangerous creatures.
I miss my home 💗
work on collaborative not dangerous. the most dangerous thing to TN is greed
Are Alligators or Crocodiles around there?
@BenBarredo

No. The biggest reptile we have in TN is probably the black snake which is a constrictor, non-poisonous, and in fact, most farmers like them on their property to keep mice away.

Sadly, I saw a huge wolf killed on highway 40 on the Cumberland Plateau last year.
I’ve gotta disagree with you about the wolves, the panthers I’ve never seen a panther personally but I have 100% seen several wild wolves in east TN and there’s alooot of people who have spotted panthers.

I'm in middle TN and I have spotted a panther in Lawrence Co. 3 people as well seen it too
Brown recluse is way more dangerous than black widow and more fatal so your order should be reversed.
Spiders aren’t animals, they are insects FYI
