Chadd Reyes pictures can end up taking up a lot of space. I recommend making a list in your notes (I have mine alphabetized by last name so it's easiest when looking for them in stores) but if pictures work for you that's great I'm just suggesting something that might make your life a little easier!

HAMMATIC Andrewgyny I think that depends on how easily someone is triggered by certain topics. The book does discuss homophobia (specifically abusive parents) and racism, and while I didn't find it upsetting, someone else might. As for anything explicit, I didn't find anything too explicit, but that is also a matter of opinion. ****SPOILER**** There is a scene where someone puts their hand down someone else's pants, but that is as explicit as it really gets. Hope this helps! I'm sure you can find more information on Goodreads or Google too! :)

Thank you so much for this video Hailey! I'm currently enrolled in school in Norway for my fall semester and it's my first time out of the states. Needless to say I am very homesick and feel out of place! I decided to pick up Love and Gelato as an easy read to comfort me because Lina goes someplace completely unfamiliar to her as well. Reading about other characters traveling and being in an unknown place really makes me feel like I'm not alone. This video couldn't have come at a better time for me

OMG I never would have thought that I ever would be able to recommend you something but the day arrived 🎉🎉 You should definitely read "The map that leads to you" by J.P. Monninger ! I got it for my birthday and I just looove it ! It's about Heather , who just graduated college and travels through Europe with her 2 best friends , and Jack who follows the steps his grandfather noted in his travel journal !! It's just sooo good ! Also I wanted to say that you do great work with your channel !😘😘😘

I recommend open road summer, it's about two best friends going on a road trip around America as on of the main characters dee is a singer going on tour for the summer and it's honestly amazing!!

My favourite travel book is 13 Little blue envelopes. An American girl travels through Europe following the instructions her aunt left her in different envelopes and it's a really good book. I recommed it to everyone :)

One travel book that I've read is First Love by James Patterson, and I oh-so loved it! I highly recommend it!

Did you read "Love and gelato"? I read it when you recommended it and loved it personnally, being half italian like Lina, it really talked to me!

I read Sophomore Year Is Greek to me a couple years ago and it was somewhat like Anna and the French Kiss but with a younger feel, and minus the romance. It was really cute (it did have some family issues), and I like how I learned a little bit a Greece through that.

Haileys little jokes and puns make me laugh 100% of the time😂

I think a book series you would like is Secrets of the immortal: nicholas flamel (it's a fantasy, it has characters from different mythologies and history) but it takes place in our world just with monsters and gods and stuff, and they teleport (that's the best way to describe it) to different places in Europe and America and I thought it was a really good series

Hey Hailey, you've got to check out this novella if you love travel and romance. You follow a girl named Natasha (yes we share the same name and it's not the only reason I loved it. :)) from Kosovo where she works for the UN, to Bosnia, Turkey and then Italy where she meets a guy she was set up on a blind date. It's cool because it's not just about travel but about life in international organisations and I'd never read about this before. I really enjoyed the mix of romance and the tidbits of history and politics sprinkled in. Definitely check it out.

I've never read Anna and the French kiss (and have no interest in reading it) but after seeing Lily's review, I'm not sure if it's "cute and fluffy"

Cora carmack losing it series. The last book finding it was so fun since she was in eastern Europe and she is a party girl that thinks she isn't worth anything but she wants to be thought of as so much mote

I apologize if I've told you about this one before, but Seanan McGuire's Sparrow Hill Road is about a road ghost - a hitchhiking ghost that travels America. It's eerie and gorgeous. Not YA but really accessible.

I like Nora Roberts books.she writes alot about Ireland

I hate how my family hates reading but I like it so I can't really talk to them about the book since they won't care. Plus I can't really have them take me to the book store cause it's a bit too far and they won't want to take me. Any advice???

Skeletøn Clique I'm in the same boat. I got a library card and borrow Ebooks from the library to read. On top of the books store being far, books can be expensive so the library is my favorite place. Library cards are free and you can usually get one online without even having to go to the library in case you dont have a ride there either.

Get a library card or kindle and get ebooks. All you need is the free Kobo or Kindle app.

If your bookshelves are arranged in colours then I must ask why didn't you "romantics" in the blue line. At least I think its romantics, bottom left behind the two funkos

But Anna and the french kiss actually does not show the reality of Paris, I saw some time ago a french person reviewing it and she really dashed the book for this. Tho personally I enjoyed it too a lot :D I like these type of videos tho for a person who lives in Europe reading about traveling Europe it a bit pointless I think, I would love some books about traveling Asia tho :)

Personally, I found the travel aspects of The Gentleman's Guide to be the most disappointing thing about it. To me, they kind of read like Lee had read one or maybe two first person accounts of what the cities were like in the early 1700s and then just said fuck it, I'm going to put as little description as possible anyway.

I don't know if you've already done this but what about recommended Alice Retellings ?? I also am OBSESSED with all things Alice in Wonderland so it would be cool if you have some good recommendations!! Xxx Ps: great video ❤️❤️

I agree! I definitely don't mind other people liking the book because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I did just want to suggest maybe stop recommending because of some of the toxic messages, ideas, and actions I feel the book puts out there. Probably could have phrased my initial statement a little less bluntly so thanks for calling my bullcrap lol
