Seriously love how much you've been posting lately💙
Only three videos watched and I love you already. I've been looking for a channel like this for months and finally! FINALLY! I've read 80% of the books that you've mentioned here and completely agree with you!!! I love you! I just love you. Keep on making good videos :) I'm gonna watch them all!!!! x x
I LOVE YOUR RECOMMENDED READS AND IVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO DO A CONTEMPORARY EDITION!!:)
SO happy you posted this video - I've been placing orders via Amazon like crazy lately as the island I just moved to has no English bookstores. I've been wondering what to include in my next order. Contemporaries are my favorite. Knew John Green would make it into this list! Really want to read Amy & Rodger's Epic Detour - sounds really beautiful. LOVE Rainbow Rowell's writing :)
I have The Fault in our Stars, Paper Towns, My Life Next Door and Everything, Everything and I loved reading them
I haven't read a lot of contemporary books so this will be my new tbr list to change book genres for January :D
Just bought Since You've Been Gone and The Unexpected Everything. So stoked to read them!!
You need to read Attachments!! Its so good, the characters are amazing plus their conversations are hilarious!
I don't understand why "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" has to be even a duology, let alone a trilogy... But this list is very diverse and interesting, thank you
You should read attachments soon. I just started it and I'm really enjoying it. The characters are absolutely amazing and it's Rainbow Rowell so obviously it's amazing.
I loved the Anna and the French Kiss series! I'm looking forward to reading To all the boys I've loved before and Everything Everything!!!
never liked john green's book but then again I read only few chapters of looking for alaska and tfios and I didn't feel like continuing

That happened to me, I got 20 pages into looking for Alaska and wasn't sure about it and now about a year later I've read finished and loved it. So just try again later

OMG!!! U are my favorite KZreadr ever! You deserve a million subscribers! -Josie😘
I just finished Anna and the french kiss and it such a great and cute book I'm in love with it ❤️and planning to read rest of the series ☺️
John Green is my favorite author too! I have almost all of his books!
Love your passion for reading - it's so refreshing! Ngl I don't see the craze of John green I think his characters are unrealistic in a strange way very similar to your point about them being to intelligent
OMG My favourite book is to all the boys ive loved before! I had no idea there was gonna be a third (although i was hoping) So excited to hear that!
i'm in the middle of reading the unexpected everything and i'm excited to read some of her other books!
I just finished Everything Everything and I had huge issues with the ending so I really perked up with you mentioned it
Ps I love your videos! They are so helpful when I need to find more books
You should read some Nicholas Sparks books! They are the best contemporary reads.
Fangirl is my favorite Contemporary book/ one of my all time favorite books! it was the first book I read that kick started my love for reading. :)
YESSS I just purchased the fault in our stars on Saturday
I read and loved Everything, Everything. I literally went straight from contemporary to horror/sci-fi this month because I'm reading quite a few of Stephen King's books, then I have some Historical Fiction books I have to read (which includes The Book Thief!) so that's pretty much all I'll be doing this month. :)
hailey i love love love your videos girl!!!!! just wondering, have you heard of the delirium series? they're amazing. if you don't know about them you should seriously check them out. also the septimus heap series.
I'm not a great fan of contemporaries but I definitely want to check out anna and the french kiss :)
I really didn´t enjoy the fault in our stars when it came out, but I did like paper towns! Great recommendations, deifnitely feeling like reading something contemorary now!
Been planning to get Just one Day and now i wanna get Night Owls too. Finished john green and rainbow rowell a few months ago
I 💗 your channel! You are by far my favourite book tuber!! What's your favourite book genre??
I really want to read Since You've Been Gone....it seems so fun!

I love Looking for Alaska, can't remember much of it, should re-read it. I'm now reading Amy and Roger's epic detour and Morgan's other books I've bought recently too. And I would love my own Etienne :-)
I'm reading Fangirl for the first time and I'm finding it enjoyable but so un-relatable :( haha. I'm 25 so that may explain it but I also never went to university/college. I think I may have enjoyed it more when I was under 21.
I'm reading Fangirl right now. I'm loving it. xxx
I really want to read Everything Leads to You, it's on my TBR this month but I don't know if I'll get to it! LOVE To All The Boys I've Loved Before!
Since I know you love Alice in Wonderland, did you ever consider reading Alice and the Red Queen by Christina Henry? :)
Just saw the link of bookdepository in your description. Amazing website! thank you! Awesome video as always. I haven't read any of these books, but I will. They sound awesome! I think I'll especially enjoy Eleanor and Park :D
I really love your videos!!!
Omg all these books are on my TBR list lol.....love your channel. What is the tatoo on your wrist?
Fangirl is the only contemporary I have read and I love it! I read last year during my first year of college and I agree, Cath is really relatable. Fangirl is such a great book.
If you haven't read More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera, you've got too,I just finished it and oh my god...
Speaking of contemporary books, you've got to read 'Tell Me Three Things' by Julie Buxbaum. Oh my gosh. It was amazing. I loved it so much and it was one of my favourite reads in a while. Let me know if you check it out! It's fairly new so I haven't found anyone who's read it yet!
i dont read that many contemporary but i really want to read some of the books like books of Morgan Matson. This video was lovely
But I liked your video keep making more you make the best TBRs and recommendations
I just finished Fangirl and I loved it!

I am currently reading it and I am loving it!
Yes! I am so excited to find someone else who also thinks John Green's characters are too knowledgeable. I love the ideas John and Hank express in their vlogs, but they sometimes seem out of place in John Green's books. His YA characters always seem a little too mature to me. After watching this video, and a few of your others, I've added quite a few of Morgan Matson's books to my TBR. I can't wait to pick one of her books up:) Have you read The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty? It's a fun contemporary book that I enjoyed reading when I was in high school. Also, I'm curious to know your opinion on Sarah Dessen's books?
I love To All The Boys Trilogy too, can't wait for the third book next year :)

ohmygod yassss!!! I just read it and I absolutely love it
So many of these are on my tbr list and I have no motivation to read right now and it's so annoying
What do you mean? What was wrong with the ending of Everything, Everything? Also, your lighting looks cute
I really recommend you read 'Weightless' by Kandi Steiner. I cannot stress enough how much I loved that book. I will say it's more on the adult contemporary side, as its got sexual content however it takes place during summer & would most likely be ained at young adults too. Honestly, its gripping from the very beginning so give it a try.
You've got really beautiful calendar in the background 🙈
The Fault in Our Stars made me feel a certain type of way. I can relate to the main character since we have the same illness.

Not a huge fan of contemporary, but still realy enjoyed your video! :)
I actually haven't read The Fault in Our Stars or Looking For Alaska ( yet!) but I love love love Paper Towns. It's fantastic. I enjoyed The Unexpected Everything, Eleanor and Park, Fangirl, Everything Everything, Jenny Han's To All The Boys, and the Stephanie Perkins trilogy too.

I read the first 2 books in the To all the boys I loved before series. they made me tear up. lol
What was the message in paper towns?
Please read and review the gallangher girls series by ally carter please please. Everybody like this
umm on your 2016 bookshelf tour didn't you have both of them because they were back to front
I bought the Unexpected Everything after you recommended it!
i love your video😘
I like this but I'm not a big contemporary fan I'm more of a Fantasy and historical fiction fan
I love watching your videos but we have very different taste in books I've noticed after reading a few of your recommendations but I'm 25 so maybe that's why lol
how many books do you read in a month
You look a lot like Phillips Soo. I mean that in a good way.

Gwenyth Rose huh. That's what I was thinking.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had issues with the ending of Everything Everything. I loved the rest of the book but I thought the ending was too unrealistic.
how about the truth about forever???
WAIT, WHAT. Is To All The Boys I Loved Before going to be a trilogy? Ugh. I think I'll let myself get spoiled to see with whom Lara Jean ends up with, because I'm still bitter after the ending of the second book.
U need to read alice in zombieland!
I started since you've been gone and wasn't that much of a fan but i kinda wanna give her books a try again, should I?

Have you read colleen hoover books? She's a great contemporary romance author. I love all of her books especially November 9, Slammed, Point of Retreat, Maybe Someday, It Ends with Us and Hopeless.
I am trying to find a book but I can't remember its name please help!!! So the book cover has 2 characters on a balcony and their backs are facing each other, the cover was bluish-purplish I think. The male character's name was Adam, he lived with his dad and brother. And female character loved to watch movies. She smoked too. She went to her neighbor's house because he had movie collection. This went on for some time before he tried to assault her. And then Adam came and beat him up real good. Yeah that's all I can remember.
im looking up contemp reads because im in a horrible reading slump 😭

Can anyone recommend a channel that reviews primarily non-YA fiction or books aimed at older audiences? Like typical NYT Bestsellers, Pulitzr nominees, big name conetemporary fiction authors etc. Struggling to find channels which don't focus mainly on books about kids in high school/college age range
