Thank you for this video. They all look beautiful on you!!! My first Chanel lipstick purchase was Mademoiselle as well. It was at the time Vanessa Paradis launched the Rouge Coco line. They reformulated a couple of years ago and the new one is slightly different and goes a little more brown on me than the OG which was more of a muted rosewood. Love these comparison videos except they make we want to go out and buy all of them.... xoxox

These are my favorite lipsticks ever! My very first one was Mademoiselle and I reach for it often - usually for important meetings, job interview, etc. it never steers me wrong! My favorite nude is Adrienne and I love Maggy too! I had two favorites that were dc'd Ruban Rose and Perle...bought them twice and scraped them out of the tube...I am a sucker for Chanel lipsticks!!

💄✨Maggy really matches your new great blazer ✨. My first Chanel lipstick was an incredible red...can’t remember the name for the life of me....but, after 20 years or maybe more 😜 I finally had to throw it out!!! I hadn’t worn it since my 20’s but I just couldn’t get rid of it. I very rarely wear true deep red anymore as I’ve gotten older....but whenever I do it is always compared to that original one 😁. Thank you for this video. Where are you finding the color descriptions? I don’t see their descriptions of the colors anywhere on any website that sells Chanel. I need warmer colors and need the descriptions to tell me as I can rarely tell on the internet.

I've been waiting to pick up some of these lipsticks for the fall as I haven't tried this line yet. Love your review! I love the Chanel Coco Flash... they are so nourishing and looking forward to your picks. All the colours look lovely on you and I love they all, especially the last three colours, match your jacket from your Nordstrom haul : ). I am thinking of either Mademoiselle or Suzanne. Abby, All of these lip colors are beautiful on you! I am very partial to the mauvey, rosewood colors myself. I don't have any of these, I need to get at least one. I think Mademoiselle is calling my name, but so is Legend, I think that one might be nice for summer (maybe I should get both-haha!). Casablanca from Tom Ford is one of my favorite's too. And, I am still looking at the Louboutin lipsticks, I loved that lipstick on you too! (I just have to keep reminding myself that it's not going to look the same on me - but I will keep trying😊). Wow they are my favorite as well. The formula is perfect for me since I don’t wear gloss but need a hydrating lipstick. I first bought Madamoiselle as well. It was my first and still worn today. I also have Legende which on me is a bit brighter than Mademoiselle. I am thinking about getting a red shade.

I brought my first Chanel item which was a lipstick Suzy (a soft red) six years back and it continues to be my favourite. The formula and colour pay off on these are fantastic. YSL volupte shines are the ones I usually use (good for my dry lips) but I was drooling at the Chanel counter over the the new shine range. They are a lot more expensive in Australia

Hello Lisa! I am going to have to check out that AMI!! AND yes, my mom was definitely a classy lady and FUN mom! She spent some time at the Sorbonne in Paris when she was younger and it really colored her life and ours. She was famous for making crepes and cheese souffles and loved her LIPSTICK! She was the type that didn't leave the house without her face on. I sort of inherited some of her love for makeup and fragrance and clothes from her. xoxo

Hi! I think we’re about the same age and have similarly fair coloring. Here’s a tip/trick to get some more mileage and a less washed out look from those pale frosty nude shades-matte nude lip pencils. It takes a little extra work, but as I age (and don’t have any fillers or anything in my lips because I just don’t think I want to) my lips need the extra definition, plus I have always had lips on the thinner side and keeping *any* lipstick on has always been a struggle for me. Now I keep a couple of reasonably priced nude shaded pencils (I go through them so I buy drugstore brand lip pencils, which have come a looong way, so i can buy good lipsticks) with a couple that are a little darker than my natural shade. I use the pencils to outline as usual, and then lay down kind of a base coat; that way I get better definition, more even lines, and my lipstick actually stays on (massive accomplishment for me)-finally, now that I’m 50ish. It has made me more of a fearless lipstick girl, which I always wanted to be, and it also makes a simple gloss look a little more dressy. I guess we just keep learning . . . I hope I never stop :)

Hi Abby: Will you be doing a review on the Chanel Fall 2020 "reds?" Dior has a red palette now and that is very pretty too. My TF Soleil foundation came yesterday in 5.5 Bisque and it is perfect for me. Really like this light/medium coverage. Also ordered my Hourglass Infinity Powder from Nordstrom.......they only had a few left plus from Sephora ordered a mini Hourglass bronzer which they then with a code sent me a Ilia lip gloss. More BR on the way.......YAY! :) Chat soon!

I’m like you Abby...I tend to go for more pink and berry colors. I have Suzanne and Etienne, which is the perfect shade for fall, IMO. It looks intimidating in the tube but is such a gorgeous berry. Can you think of any Rouge Coco dupes for TF Casablanca? I have seen it on you and love it, but I can’t pull the trigger on a $55 lipstick that I can’t try on because I don’t have access to a Tom Ford counter.

UPDATE: Opened the HOS WW84 box.....magnificent! The fragrance is light and so soft on me....love it! What can I say about the cupcake and the lipstick case......NOTHING...just LOOK at it and fall in love! :) Hourglass Infinity Powder is wonderful....beautiful on my skin. My first powder from them......mini Hourglass bronzer coming any day from Sephora. Have no doubts it will be well received too. Will be anxious to get the new Gucci bronzer in Light with a touch more red than my TF Terra which will give things a whole different look when needed/wanted. Yay! Now that we know about the new HOS launch tomorrow, my cart will be filling up again from them but have to wait until next month to order. Wonder if the additional lipstick cases to match the Whispers in the Garden collection will be limited editions like the first two in the white and pink cases? Hope not.....will give me more time to collect! ;) Chat more soon! :)

I’ve 💞gone hard on Guerlain refillable Rouge G.💞 If you store them upright in your drawer, in the original box, it becomes super easy to swap them out into whichever case you’re using. I dove into them about a decade ago, when they were just one case. Now I’ve got 3 cases & a little row of the refills, amongst my Dior, Shiseido, Sisley, Chanel, Sensei… Sure, I keep TRYING L’Oréal & Catrice, but it is no fucking contest. My absolute ride or die shade❓ 💋Dior Spotlight✨💋 9️⃣8️⃣3️⃣💋& 💋6️⃣1️⃣2️⃣✨💋 I have several in different bags or pockets, in varying levels of ‘nearly gone’.. sooo wearable to go for drinks, or dinner or just slick on in an elevator to go out the door❣️ It plumps, illuminates, disguises my Fordyce dots, moisturizers, smells good, doesnt taste awful & is platinum-silvery to go with my neutral completion, jewelry & eyes. It never clashes with my prescription sunglasses or optically-necessary eyewear frames. I’m not going to drop hard coin on ultra thin lenses & solid eyewear or beloved jewelry to have to fuck about with lipstick clash.

Abby what about ‘Boy’ is it still in a collection .... i hope so they need to keep it no matter what or bring it back... funny thing about ‘Boy’. Every single time i wear it ppl stare at my lips...no other lippy does that. loll. Considering it is nude of sorts, goes to show there has to be something special about it...have you ever worn Boy?

Catherine- I love BOY but that is in the Rouge Coco Flash line up and did not include it just because I was focusing on the Rouge Coco Lipsticks but BOY is an all time fav!!!! Perfect NUDE!! xoxo
