4. How to make submersible Water Pump From Old Washing Machine Water Pump. In the video I will reuse an old water pump from a washing machine, I will insulate the compartment with the coils with the help of a 110 mm PVC pipe and 2pcs 110 mm pipe caps. I will use silicone for sealant and glue for PVC pipes.
5. Make PVC Pneumatic Cylinder Using Polipropilene Pipe. In the video you will see a unique way to make a pneumatic cylinder. This video is intended to show the device and how such a cylinder works.In the video I will use a polypropylene pipe, two connecting fittings and two caps. the size of the fittings and the pipe is 1/2 or 20 mm.
I will also use metal axle nuts, washers, pvc board, oil resistant rubber, spring and rim valve. The device is extremely easy. At the end of the video you can see what power it generates.

    En el caso del filtro, los sellos o uniones son para vacío, El vacío los ayuda a unirlos, así que pueden ser más ligeros porque no soportan presión, así serían más fáciles de limpiar ;)

    THANK YOU FOR A GOOD VIDEO !!! I learned some cute tricks, from watching this video. One tip I'll leave you with. Anytime you have something that will bolt together with another piece, always grind or cut out a "KEY" across both pieces. That way there is a permanent MARK, that can't be painted over. You line those two grooves up together and the bolt pattern ALWAYS fits. It can be done simply by bumping the edge with your angle grinder. Nothing extravagant. Just a little groove 90 degrees from the edge. Thanks again

    Note: Remember to fully unwind your cable before using your extension cord. If you let it roll up it will behave like an inductor, and there is a risk of overheating and danger depending on your " power user " at the end of the extension cord.

  • @peterbetts8740

    @peterbetts8740

    2 жыл бұрын

    Not especially because of being an inductor, The wires will get warm anyway because of ordinary electrical resistance, If the cable is all unwound from its reel/bobbin, that heat can escape easily, But wrapped around a reel/bobbin, the heat cannot escape and because all plastic electrical insulators are also good thermal insulators, the reel can get very hot and melt the insulation. Not so important for the brief bursts of use the angle grinder gets but if you're powering things like lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers or heaven forbid, welders, ALWAYS unwrap the cable completely. Its amazing how hot things get so quickly.

    Then again, poking a hole on the bottom with a cold chisel will do the same job. Cost of hammer & chisel. Silicone the hole closed later after you design a release valve out of PVC. Gravity does the work naturally.

    I bet that first vacuum project would make a good dust collection system for a wood shop. Great video :-)

    Amazing dedication to building stuff. I build a lot of stuff too, but when it's cheaper to buy it I don[t have time for this. BTW, using plastic pipe for ANY compressed air application is a NO-NO. It explodes into fragments which will pepper your body with shrapnel

    @@ssijon Yep, when it's new. But it does age. It is subject to fatigue (from repeated expansion and contraction due to changes in pressure), heat and chemical exposure. When it DOES break it doesn't split in a small area and contain the split as does steel pipe. It fragments. I'm familiar with the pressure rating. All of my water plumbing is PVC or CPVC. I was using that long before it got really popular.

    Place a gasket between the canisters, and use wing nuts instead of standard nuts, thstvwsy you wont have to use a wrench to empty it.

    -1st: Just making the vaccuum cleaner bigger (IMO) -2nd: Using at least €10 of supplies to make something that could've been done with just a €1 piece of gardenhose -3rd: Buying the real thing costs the same or less and is most likely safe(r) to use -4th: See 2nd. If you really want to do something else, just buy a cheap aquarium pump (also safer) or use an airlift system with an aquarium air pump -5th: Cool project, but where do you want to use it for? Making a weapon for your Battlebot? Although I'm not a fan of the outcome of your projects, I do however want to compliment you on your techniques. You definitely got some skills:)

    Keep in mind in the first build idea, 'cyclone', 'modified vacuum catch capacity" this 1st demo using 'particle board', 'I'm highly recommend using waterproof boarding. Safe Note #1; Keep your hands further away and above that 11,000 rpm router bit. Find a safer method to hold the work pieces than shown in the vid. The router can eat a hand off before one can think, "WHAT"?.
