Would love to see more tip videos. I’m guilty of all the tips u mentioned. I do need a bigger workspace desk. I’m slowly trying to make my build fast but always forgetting the next step. PATIENCE is always key and ur right about that part…

Exactly. I've seen a lot of people try to blast through a kit, leave the nibs on or even just use a harsh file to get them off leaving a horrible scratch, just so they can put the kit on social media and proclaim that the kit was done in 20 mins like it was nothing. Only to then just put the kit on a shelf or in a box.

Oh my. I've never built that kit before so not sure how long it would take me. When you do another RG kit, try some of these tips and time yourself. See if it helped :D

This is a great video. I've been building for a few years now, and I struggle with how slow I am when it comes to building. I think this will be a big help.

your very welcome and thank you! Let me know if it helped you build faster. I paint a lot so for me, the building process needs to get done quickly so this is what I found to work best for me

This was a great video idea, thank you. Honestly, even more content on how to shave down time would be amazing. It's the only gripe I have about gunpla, custom painting takes way longer than I expected.

I'm planning on having more in the future as I'm learning how to trim the time down faster and faster as well as trimming painting times. I'll give a free one now, for painting, make sure to have a ton of bases to stick your parts on and take time to plan out your colors. You lose time if you ever have to go back and forth to a color you already did.

My next video is also going to be a tip video. One thing I use is a stackable paper holder. I can go as high as needed and it is just like pulling paper out of it and putting it back in..NEVER snags.. Great video...I hope you keep growing....I subscribed to you as well ....

after building lots of gunpla, I began to cut everything out from one runner gate. everything from A parts are cut out and sanded, then put them in box label A. Sanding is crucial but it's the most time consuming part, the build is rather quick.

  • @TriloGStudio

sanding does take forever, thats why i like to do it after because not all nubs need to be sanded off especially on newer model kits. I can see the bag idea working better for certain kits, and not so much for others. You do have to search in the bins, but this is akin to Legos so I can see this working.

How do you keep the nubs from flying everywhere? It's a struggle for me at times.

  • @TriloGStudio

Flying? That may depend on your nipper cutter. If your using a general nipper, it may pinch the parts and cause them to "fly" away. Similar to when you cut nails. I use a 1 blade clipper (one side is flat and sharp) so it creates a smoother cut. Try looking into one, I got mine from USA Gundam.

I feel the majority of the time wasted during the building phase is sanding for me

  • @TriloGStudio

Yes. I hate sanding lol. But depends on the kit and what your goal is. Masking for me usually takes the longest

Im confused. Please answer this: What is the double cutting method? I didn’t understand 😅

  • @TriloGStudio

    @TriloGStudio

    23 күн бұрын

Means you first cut the piece off the gate, then you need to cut off the nub (the small piece of the gate that is still left on the kit) This is a bit more safe since you will have more control of the piece but does take a bit more time.

  • @Razento25

Your not going to cut out all the pieces. Vid never says that. You only cut out the pieces needed for the part your currently working on.
