Thanks for the info. Wish games went back to box prices. Having all your characters and mechs locked by pay walls is insane to me but a lot of players prefer it it seems. It allows them to spend a lot of money and show off. I wish it were different.

5 is the only game in the series that I have not completed because the mechanics regressed so much. 6 is great! It its short but a great way to kill time even after 8 play throughs.
AC5 I didn't care for simply because it felt too slow as compared to AC4 obviously, but even compared to the ps2 generation of games. AC6 was different but compared to AC5 it felt more in line with the other games, fast paced mech combat.
so the ac series have evolved more than the soul series right?. I have only only played ac6 and elden ring and i love both games.

All that customization and the character is still ugly as shit
the game launched in perfect conditions, no performance drops or glitches. its just a skill issue with 99% of negative reviews. they made the best out of the situation, making the game akin to older ac games would not have sold well enough for namco.

Not sure what stand that is. This particular kit didnt have a stand to showcase the armor bursting off it thats what you mean. Most had to customize it.

I dunno, finished the entire game (yes NG++ as well so 3 entire playthroughs) within a week and didn't think it was too hard. Nearly got Iguazu ALLMIND on the first try (dude was super low) but got it pretty quickly after. Its not a skill issue, its a build issue

I am old school Armored Core since AC 1. I will admit that I did not like how much of a souls -like it was. Yes, it is hard. But, I still liked the game. Eventhough it was hard at first, I still managed to get all the acheivements and get S rank on all the missions. It may not be as much AC as I'd like to see; but, it is still one of the greatest games I've played in a long time

Exactly lol. Ac6 was a Jam for sure. Even I had to take a step back and reset my thinking.
The waist issue is a problem on mine too and seems to be a common problem. However, it was easy to fix as I just tightened it with super glue, leave it to dry then apply it back. It now is way better than before.
Thats great advice! Adding a bit of glue to make it have more grip.

Because a lot of Souls players themself use "Git Gud" in the wrong context. A lot them use it in terms of "yeah you suck at the game, but i don't want to help/tell you how to get better at the game, even though thats not the meaning of "Git Gud" .

Grew up in the PS2 era, AC3, Silent line, and Last Raven. Last Raven being the bane of my existence. Zinaida was tough! AC6 is fucking awesome by comparison! Im glad that Fromsoft returned to their root IP. Im looking forward to the expanded content for this title.
