Top 5 Things We Miss About Australia | Two Traveling Kings

About Us:
We’re Jenny and Logan, American Millennials with a passion for traveling and eating delicious food from all around the world. Our love for travel started in the UK where we lived and worked for a while, traveling to different European cities almost every weekend. So when we went back to our “normal” lives in the US, we knew we weren’t ready to settle down. This motivated us to plan a trip around the world and then a year in Australia. We decided to give this vlogging thing a shot and have really enjoyed sharing our travel journey. Who knows where we’ll end up next, so be sure to follow along to find out! :)

@@dashcam55 You ignorant bigots always complain about it being Halal certified.... And yes, you are an ignorant bigot. Why do you not have an issue with Vegemite being KOSHER certified too? Could it be that you are an ignorant anti Muslim bigot who has no idea what you are talking about? Clearly. And any business that is worth anything will be doing what it can to expand the market for their goods. Halal certification does not change the formulae. It just lets people who follow a Kosher or Halal diet that the product is permissible to consume. The certification fees cover the cost of the inspectors who have to travel all over the country, or internationally, in order to visit the factories or farms to ensure that the foods are produced in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Kosher or Halal dietary rules. Only an ignorant bigot who has never had anything to do with a business would object to having the widest market for goods. Especially Australian owned products like Vegemite (which is owned by Bega Cheese now).

I drive through the Currowan bushfire area (south of Sydney) every couple of weeks. 100 miles from one end to the other some areas bring so much sadness in some areas but also some amassment at how some of it is regenerating. You guys are a credit to your country. Give Australia a real wrap. So often we get a stereotypical view. Steve Irwin,Croc Dundee(a real blast from the past) though a few actors like Hugh Jackman have changed that view. So good to see you like our 'delicacy' in Vegemite. Yes it is acquired taste and its a good way to educate everyone how to eat it. (You wouldn't put half a bottle of olive oil or mayonnaise to flavour a salad.). Less is more. Just a pity you didnt get a chance to travel more. See the tropical north. Rainforests, wildlife. Yes crocodiles too. (You just don't swim in waterways) The red centre. Uluru and other natural formations. Fringe festivals. Best is in Adelaide in Feb and March. So many other places and events. Good luck with your life in North Carolina. Hopefully all of us will one day be able to travel again.

You guys are loveable. Sorry to introduce a sour note but it's hard to know what being Australian is now after 75 years of determinedly indiscriminate post WWW2 mass immigration, along with legislatively coerced multiculturalism, but I'm glad someone is so generous as to express appreciation of it. As the decades rolled on I switched from vegemite with slabs of melted butter on crunchy white bread toast to Promite and avocado on bread. Now I use neither as I discovered Japanese Miso in all its variety - it has more subtle flavour and I suspect is more nutritious with probiotic benefits. It can be used the same way as vegemite.
