Sweet! This is great! My mom is a snow bird, and I am arriving in March with my daughter who loves snorkeling! I have my PADI, and I am really pumped to explore with her! I have gone exploring around Dubois (shame about the ancient Seminole henge that was used to make a roadway... brutal.) Looking forward to checking these spots out. It's cold here in Ottawa today... hard to think about swimming! But the water temp looks to be about 24-25C. Good enough!

Are there places in the area to rent gear? And are there snorkel clubs or small groups to do this with? I am 68 and don't think I should do this alone. Thank you!

HI,love your channel and content. I have a question if you dont mind. I hear Coral Reef is amazing (as you stated also ☺) but I hear its very silty and a good experience is kind of hit or miss. Im going in October and Im not sure I should go and risk lots of time/money wasted if its not good snorkel conditions. Thanks much!

You want to go when the tide is in (high tide). The seas also get rougher in the Fall and Winter so its better to go in Summer or Spring

If its not clear that day, walk across the street to the intracoastal side when its high-tide and it will be much clearer. Also check out the Catos bridge on the same side but to the south.

Yes ! a dive flag is a must when snorkeling in these locations.

I am scared about sharks! How often are they seen there ?
