Basic Skills to be Control Systems Engineer
During the interviews i conducted, the more and more I see smart and ambitious people applying for these jobs, but not ready to hold a role. The university nowadays cannot give you all the basic knowledge to accomplish tasks in your future jobs. That’s why I believe in self and long-life learning. The online education platforms can provide you tons of different courses, starting from Social Science ending with Neural Networks. This brings us to another issue, which course and a skill worth spending your time. Even our profession changes every year with new technologies, I tried to collect the basic critical skills, that will be required to do the minimal Control Systems job.

As a 30 year veteran of the field, I agree that your critical thinking skills are very important along with keeping your cool under pressure. But most people, even at my level have blind spots in their abilities, so don't over stress thinking you have to know everything on day one, because you won't. You must be humble and honest enough to research and figure out what you need to learn to be successful. Good luck everyone and when you get that job, make a fiend that can mentor you and don't be afraid to buy some coffee and donuts.
Tha k you for the advices hope for more in that vicinity

yeah, no stress, we are 2 months after official lunch date, so your time frame was concentrated from 2 months to 2 weeks, see you then :D yeah, no stress, we just need the system back running in 30 seconds, and if you will have time in the mean time you can check this additional point to resolve :D
When it comes to technology of all sorts, colleges and universities are at least one step behind the current industry if not several steps. It's always been this way, it's not a new thing. One of the skills a good teacher instills in students is the ability, the know-how needed for teaching themselves, for continuing their education after they leave, and how to learn things on their own. Every active working tech engineer is constantly learning (JIT). I've been working in systems integration since the 80s. PLCs, scada, and all the tech involved including mechanical, electrical engineering, instrumentation technologies. What I was taught at the university was a drop in the ocean compared to what I've had to teach myself along the way. I've also had to become proficient in many programming languages along the way to be able to engage all the various projects that I've been blessed with getting involved in over the decades.

Thank you.
Sir i really appreciate your guidance. Sir can you help me which industrial automation institutions is best to attend in dubai, please?
Can you help me ,i'm a beginner,to understand the SCADA system development process.
Just add on extra skill needed for technical and non technical which is not mention. Technical- Basic mechatronic knowledge, machine learning , programming -Python , SQL and JavaScript . Non technical- Communication , team work and leadership.
I would add that you need to have good communication skills because the people on the field floor will give you most valuable feedback, will provide points what can be improved and where the pottential issue / bug might be
thank you boss
LOL Once you begin working for any company, all of these skills will naturally develop.
