I love London...theres just too many people now. Back in the 80's and 90's, London was simple and beautiful...it feels like what made London so special is being attacked by urban spral or people taking advantage of it. It's sad.

Grew up in London. Have lived away for many years but it's always on my mind and have periodically moved back there. At 53 I know the place as well as anyone else if not better. To be honest, yes, it definitely has its problems but I survived 15 years in Toronto and am now dying of boredom in Fredericton, NB. I may have a chance to move back to London and if the job works out, I'll take it and move home and hopefully never leave. To be able to spend my off time on the Thames Valley Parkway has always been my favourite pasttime.

London is the best place to raise a family. It offers a combination of city and rural life. London was not that affected during the recession in the 80s because of the diversity of businesses from agricultural to manufacturing. We have top class college, a great university offering Medicine to MBA and a world-class hospital system. London's proximity, especially to the great lakes and an array of weekly festivals in London and around make every summer fun! In the wintertime there is a small ski slope and free skating rinks to enjoy otherwise hop to the efficient London Airport for direct flights to Cuba, Mexico and others. Come to London, real estate is still manageable. Cheers to London!!

Farmland all around the city and lake is close. Funny to see this video in my recommended considering I just moved away from London a few weeks ago. It’s fine (as in there is stuff to do, and it looks nice (if you’re on the north, west or far east ends of town)), but the traffic is bad; there aren’t a lot of good jobs; and it’s expensive relative to the number of good jobs available. Downtown is also riddled with drug addicts, so that’s not really the place to be. You’d be better off moving to Windsor (actually cheaper), Waterloo (good jobs), or Toronto (good jobs) if you want to stay in Southwestern Ontario.

I just posted a comment on your video: Reasons NOT to live in London Ontario. So, now I am going to post this on why you SHOULD live in London Ontario. I see that you talk about the proximity to other cities. I AGREE wholeheartedly! the BEST reason to live in London is that it is close to Toronto, Detroit, Michigan and Buffalo, New York. You can get from one side of town to the other in 25 minutes. We have world-class hospitals. We are the "Forest City" so we have tons of parks. I can get to THREE of the Great Lakes in around an hour. Lake Huron is 1 hour. Lake Erie is 40 minutes. Lake Ontario is 1.25 hrs. I DID go to the Imaging Van Gogh exhibition at 100 Kellogg Lane. It was breathtaking to the point of bringing me to tears. I really wept at the beauty of it. I commented on your HATE LONDON video on why I hate living here. Crap. Now I am thinking it may not be such a bad place to live. When I started this comment it was to praise the location of London to other "Better Places"...Now, I may be thinking that it is not such a bad place to live. Crap Again! I didn't expect a whole Reality Reconfiguration today! It's my day-off. I just wanted to relax and watch fun youtube videos. THANKS for making me think! When I didn't want to! LOL

I love London I've lived in this city my whole life and id never leave its my home. To be completely honest and i know this is a problem everywhere but in London its definitely getting really bad. The homeless population is getting completely out of control and nothing is being done to help this and as result crime both break and enter and violent crimes are also getting really bad and the London police service really couldn't possibly care less as they just seem to ignore everything and just wait for you to stop bugging them when you need them. In London seriously don't order anything online and have it delivered unless you are going to be waiting on your porch to receive the package because 100% it will get stolen by porch pirates and again it doesn't matter if you yourself catch the idiots and call the police or if you call them and ask them to do anything about it the London police service absolutely doesn't do anything to stop porch pirates not even when they have video or photos or multiple people saying that whatever person is the one who did it the police just don't do anything. Me personally im disabled and i don't drive and i was downtown by shoppers drug mart waiting for a bus with a family member and ny medical alert service dog and completely out of nowhere some crazy homeless idiot ran up behind me completely not provoked not at all I've never seen him but he knocked me out cold from behind knocking me down to the ground then im told my my family member that the idiot ran away like a complete coward thankfully the city had security cameras in this location and they seen the whole thing on camera after we called for help because i had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance because of my head injury from him i still have memory problems from this happening. Anyways its not safe downtown not at all. Another time i was walking to meet up with my mother then we were going to go to one of the malls and by the Dollarama on Dundas downtown some other crazy person come again from behind and started to hit my disabled mother and knocked her down thankfully i was able to knock this idiot down and i did something i likely shouldn't have but this person just hurt my mother for no reason so i knocked him down and i kicked him in the ribs a few times and yelled a few things im not proud of how i handled that bug its my mom and i did what I had to do to protect her. Bottom line downtown London ontario Canada is not a safe place and just because the city put jn a fancy new brivk road on Dundas calling it Dundas place doesn't make it a safe place it just gives the criminals and homeless a nice new brick road to sleep on oh and can't forget that you look anywhere downtown on the sidewalk you will always find human poop and often see homeless or drug Addicks dropping his or her pants to either per or poop ive seen this happen more than a few times its disgusting. Bottom line yes London is my home i love it and will never leave but even on the streets with homes on them have a lot of problems with homeless and crime so channels like this need to be 100% honest and tell everything because again yes London is my home I love it but its extremely far from perfect and is absolutely dangerous in more than a few areas and definitely the downtown area. This is the real London Ontario Canada not the fake perfect London Ontario Canada that this channel is trying to make you believe it is. 🙂👍✌️

Yes - @NotJustBikes is too critical of the biking in London Ontario. The Thames Valley Parkway has some of the nicest biking in a city we’ve seen. Mind you it can always be better and I’m sure it is nothing compared to the Netherlands.

London is the shit hole of ontario. I was born there and lived 23 years there. Very humid summers horrible winters. A small city attempting to be a top 5 city in Canada

Renting is almost as bad as Toronto, a drug epidemic has destroyed the city center. Go to Kitchener.

Based on the comments we’ve received it sounds like the drug epidemic is just as bad in Kitchener.
