Good video. Getting my PC just like I wanted it was not easy. I am a fan of the "travel light so I can travel fast" school, but as I have grown older, this has turned into, "well, at least as fast as I can". Weight and bulk add up fast.

I’ve always been of the same mindset as I was always pretty good on my feet being quick and fast, able to stop and change directions on a dime etc etc. just turned 40 a couple months ago and I’ve realized I’m not as fast and quick as I once was😂 now I still try and go for lightweight but mainly what I try for now is as many mags as I can have without having my kit bulky up front. Only one layer of mags and no kangaroo pouches or anything bulky up front for being prone but I like the idea of having as many rounds as I possibly can without it becoming something ridiculous

I thought there was some pretty good tips in this video. Especially when they showed how difficult too much stuff makes going prone, getting back up again and the interaction of gear in vehicles a real chore. Regarding snagging hazards: It's also important to remember how your rifle's sling fits into the dynamic of all of that kit. Being able to sling or unsling one's weapon reasonably quickly is an important thing to learn and practice. That was also an excellent point about keeping the drawing area above one's secondary holster clean. Good stuff! 🫡

I get issued a Crye Plate Carrier. I've found it hard to get truly comfortable with it due to the cummerbunds lack of flexibility, so I now use Ferro Concepts ADAPT Cumberland's with a Warrior P/C, which is far lighter and allows me to actually breathe whilst having the P/C snug enough to stay in one place. This is especially important when also wearing soft armour underneath. As far as wearing side plates, it's easy enough to add them with the Crye side plate bags whilst still being able to use the Ferro elastic punches for mags or whatever. It's a Mish Mash but it's effective, light and works well for me.

Mistake #3 wearing it in the wrong spot Mistake #4 thinking your muscles/fat levels determines your plate size. Hearts and lungs dont grow/shrink with muscle mass/fat. Do the correct measurements of your heart and lungs Mistake #5 wearing a black/multicam black/splatter/ig hype pattern. Camo is dependent on your environment, and black is unnaturally dark
