Great video!, I agree with the muffler delete did mine and it sounds so good compared to stock. It was only $60 for me in TX to get it done/welded.

Best cost effective exhaust for these trucks hands down.

Man if I had a custom, I would change out the headlights. They’re not bad, but there are some pretty good options. I have the LT which literally has zero aftermarket choices. It sucks bc it’s my favorite mod to do

@@limitedslipautomotive the entire housing. All the aftermarket options are for “factory halogen” which is code word for the Custom. They’ve got some cool LED options that I would install if they fit on my truck.

Just popped my Fionas cherry today on a trail to Twin Lakes near Mt Baker. Had to turn around due to challenging part i wasnt comfortable with cause im still makin payments! 🤪

No wonder my truck save a lot of gas but sometimes when I try to push (give gas) is not strong enough ! How exactly you take the chip out? And I am guessing I’ll be more gas money but that’s ok

You have to tune the truck and physically change the lifters and cam shaft to fully delete this system.

How do you tell if you have afm or dfm? I have a 21 custom with the 5.3 4x4

AFM. Apparently DFM comes with the 6.2L

It will be noted on the window sticker. 5.3 paired with the 6 speed will have AFM for that year. If it has the 8 speed it will be DFM.

What does the thermostat delete do?

It makes the transmission fluid continuously run through the cooler, instead of the thermostat only allowing it past 190 degrees.

does anyone know if any company has made a headlight mod? not just replacement bulbs

I think Recon does, not sure about Customs. I know there are a handful of replacements for Customs on Amazon, may not be reputable name though.

"you don't want a 4 cylinder" I've got the 4 cylinder custom.... pulls great actually.

@@JoeDawson. it’s been doing really good when it comes to towing. Fuel mileage on the other hand!! Might as well get the V8 ( I’m averaging 17mpg in town. 18 doing 75 on the interstate. Not the numbers I thought it would get
