IMHO, the Skar is hitting the fullest range for tweeter and does it in a balanced way. The small ones hitting the highs yes but missing some of what it is supposed to have. The pioneer is off balance it hisses and isnt balanced across the range. That said the Skar has a much higher wattage, without us knowing the wattage you put in it is hard to choose for our setups.

I have the club tweets in my f350 and my wife's edge..great bang for the buck

Yes 4ohm if you thinking to run them parallel to ur speakers and ohm drop dont worry ur amp doesn't feel tweeters that much u not gonna over heat the amp

Not really. That's not what how people buying these tweeters will be running it. The tweeter's crossover is a big part of how it sounds. So changing it from that would be a very bad representation of how it should sound.

How much power were you using to test those?

So many questions. What’s the wattage each tweeter? How many watts are you running through them? This seems to be an unfair comparison considering that if the tweeter is a higher wattage it might not be as loud as the lower wattage tweeters.

How does the Infinity reference tweeters compare with the jbl's they kinda look very similar

Personally a SKAR fan (even thought it’s underrated) but JBL really gave me those crispy highs so thats my pick right there

Great videos! I like that you also look at price, build quality, and sound as a whole. Can I get your opinion on what tweeter you would choose if...... I wanted NVX, due to them being silk + would match the rest of my system, but they can't be found. So,.... I already have a set of Rockford Fosgate I can use, or, I was looking at the SKAR TWS-01 or the SKAR Tx-T. In my PT Cruiser.... Don't Laugh. Lol.... Mounted in the Front door main sail, Just in front of the window,....I plan on running them off my Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997 deck at 22w rms each ch , and a set of NVX NSP35 3.5" coaxial speakers in the dash running off the rear ch of the deck. As well as (4) NVX NSP65 6.5" coaxial door speakers at 50w rms each off of an Kenwood Excelon X302-4. And a NVX QBUS8v2 8" Powered Subwoofer under the front seat at 100w rms. I'd really appreciate your, and anyone else's, opinion on which tweeters would be suggested out of my/those options. Thank you. Keep up the great work.

No, deff Rockville RVL69W 6x9 $50 a piece but it's a mid range woofer 300w they bang. They are slightly larger than a typical 6x9

I would love to see the Orion XTR 1.00TW. I have several sets, and have burned out more than a few. Pretty loud, and they are crisp, they just don't take the power I was hoping for. I have burned out a few sets, learning how to set up a super high power active setup. 1000 watts for a set of tweeters is total overkill. I've since learned to cross high, at close to 5k or higher, at a steep slope, 24db or better, and take it easy! I wonder how they stack up to the competition. They are right at $60 for a set out the door with tax. I plan on two more sets, to soak up the over abundance of power on tap, and give the output I want without worrying about burning them up, keeping them playing at a comfortable power level.

Yeah I used to run my tweets @ 2500 with a steep cross. But now I like my tweets at 4500 with great results with current gain and max volume. Do you meet your mids with tweets at crossovers point?

@@SifuBang At the moment I have tweets crossed right at 5k, 24db slope. The mids play 120hz(24db slope) all the way clear up to 12k(36db slope) before breakup. It's surely "bright sounding" and there is overlap. I've never clamped power from the mids and tweeter amps, but they do get good and warm if I play them hard for a while even with below freezing temps. I have them both running at their minimum impedance. The mids and highs scream, it's definitely more than enough. 😂 Probably too bright for most, but that's my preference.

@@OrionHCCC26 they are really good speakers. Super loud, play incredibly high, and clean and crisp. I send some crazy power to them, and they never stink, or struggle. They just play louder until your ears bleed. 🤣
