thanks for the great vid, just wanted to point out that filiming the gateron optical switches transform them from a wobbly terrible switch to a very clean sounding and nice feeling one, as the main wobble is in the housing itself

"typewriters were invented in 1868, and since the rise of computers over the last century, keyboards have become an integral part of our lives. But that IS a keyboard? In this video I will..." Ikr, I'm so done with it
Thank you sir I just bought myself the third keyboard on this list it looks and sounds amazing for what I’m looking for.
Yo the fashion is on point in this video. That shirt and necklace is FIRE.

I love how you kept doing keyboards but didn’t make it the focus I do appreciate the information you have in subject on how it is informative, but overall variety great work
dude nice video thanks for literally getting straight to the point
definitely going to check out one of these, previously was looking for a good budget headset when I stumbled upon your review of the redragon H10 Zeus and was sold got myself a pair so trust your advice on these too!
The reddragon k530 pro is a 10/10. Highly reccomend modding it with the flamingo switches ❤
I bought the Ractous with brown switches a while ago. I made hybrid switches with Feker Holy Pandas. You don't get quite the entire feel of an actual panda switch, but it is a noticeable upgrade if you like tactile. Also installed some case foam to knock out a little hollowness.
i personally think the royal kludge should be on this list it is a great keyboard, comes with foam, stabilizers are already pretty good and foam between the PCB and the plate, just buy putting good sounding switches in it, it can make it sound really good
really helpful, i am getting the number 4 keyboard, thanks for the recommendation
Do the tape mod (2-3 layers of blue painters tape on the back of the PCB) on the Ractous/Tezarre 61/63s and others like them. It's so quick and easy to do, just a couple keycaps and 6 little screws, and it makes a MASSIVE improvement to the sound. Putting the board on top of 1cm of closed cell foam or 2-3 small mousepads also can isolate the sound from resonating into your desk, and again massively improving the sound, making them feel like far more expensive boards.

+1 to this!! I recently impulse-bought a Pulsar keyboard for work when Amazon dropped the price, and it honestly sounded pretty crappy at first. I had some extra keycaps and switches that I brought in from home (white ASA profile Akko PBT keycaps and pre-lubed Akko Lavender Purple tactile switches), and my only other mod was opening it up and doing 2-3 layers of blue painter's tape on the PCB. After doing that, this thing sounds WAY better than the very few dollars I spent on it... to the point that I could maybe consider a few other mods down the line but honestly don't feel the need.
This guy always provides with the best budget vids
I bought the Reddragon K530 and replaced the switches with Akko Jelly Blacks because of you! Also modded it using your guide. This was my first mechanical keyboard that I modded and it was all possible because of your videos! ❤❤❤

I love that you skip right to the tier list, different than most tier lists.🥰

Hi there, im recently found you searching for budget mechanical keyboard and have a blast with the mods. Thanks in advance for the service you have been doing in pro the comunity. In latam there are not too many options in this starting point (I'm currently in Chile), so I was thinking to buy the GK75 (and is available right now). On the oher hand, found out that the Keychrone brand is well known and the starting point of the k2 (v1) is around +15$, you still recomend to purchase this one instead?. Great video!
i love how he jumps right into from the start
Honestly, imo tecware's in this one is the best TKL sized with perfectly tuned sound with awesome stabs, and sound compression. Definitely the best one in this list imo

I just got one with outemu brown switches. It’s definitely not bad, but it has a lot of pinging noises when typing
@TeaTehMan
Жыл бұрын
@@KrutGemByte you probably got the tecware phantom 2020-2022 models, they're the only ones that come with outemus, that's why the switches pings for you since they're yk outemus. While for the phantom +s they (tecware) have their own set of customized prelubed ones, which doesn't have any pings at all, and on a same price tag as the old (2020-2022) models.

Finally a budget keyboards video with keyboards that are actually budget under 40$
You should do a review of RK M75. I got one and its very good for its price. Stabs are already tuned, no rattle, no ticking.
LOVE IT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
The GK75 is great I have this board with the glacier green switches theses are a tactile switch and have a greater bump that a brown for sure, I would say these have a bump more like an Akko blue . I did have to lube the springs of the switches though because it did have noticeable ping but luckily it was only the spring and not the leaf. The stem does come pre-lubed from the factory and is consistent.
I just ordered the ractious with blue switches for 21$ super excited
This is a cool channel, the only problem I have is that most of it is not available in the EU. It is a more TOP 2 for EU. Maybe you could make one for EU. That would be nice.
I bought some random keyboard of Amazon. This vid would have helped me so much
tbh tecware really change my mind on them, before this i want to buy keychron after test wraith pink boom just bought phantom + elite, love it tkl really is my choice. before this rk71 is my main keyboard with custom foam for pcb, bottom foam, tape ,tx stab, matcha green lubed. and that tecware + elte justr originally come as good or more good than my rk. truely nice
I like that #5 put the FN on the far right end.
Could you maybe do a straight up BEST keyboard right now, like no limitations whatsoever I just want to see the top 5 best ones. If you could I would love that

Yeah number 3 stabs are better than normal but.. right left shift enter and back space all have ticking, space is good though
The fact that this video literaly does not have any downtime before starting the list literaly solved all of my hate for youtube 😆
The tecware phantom have always been a great keyboard. Can you make a mod for that keyboard. I think its gonna be awesome
I think I might try one of these ..
Bro is going straight to the ranking, no long boring intro. Great video 😀
Dude, I kinda miss your mechanical keyboard video. It just feels right when a thumbnail of your video showing mechkeebs stuff popped up on my feed. Please make it more often. Understand that you want to diversify your contents. But, your keeb content is like a fresh air to the other creator in youtube tho as I think you're the only one who cover extensively prebuilds-in stock online marketplace stuffs (hence, the majority of consumers are) that usually left behind by other keyboard youtubers.
Hey bro, you do gaming peripherals could you do some phone gaming peripherals like low latency budget buds, Gaming gloves, phone coolers, and even phones with real values
Welcome back mate haha
love the content
I like how he got literally straight to the point of the video.
Love the shirt, get it somewhere online?
The H81 looks like a very old keyboard I used to have 1998 :D
This channel is so clutch
Great Video, But I wanted to ask if the Epomaker GK75 has a hot swappable knob? Thanks.
love that the video starts right away instead of a long ass intro
Can u review the YUNZII yz75? I was thinking about buying it but i haven’t heard much about it
can u do like a top 5 beginner mechanical keyboards?
one of your previous budget lists you put the royal axe y68 on the top, was wondering if the gk75 is a better keyboard than that.
I don't know if you ever mentioned it, but what is your definition of a "gaming" keyboard vs "custom"?

Please recommend the best budget aluminum 65% tri-mode keyboard. Thank you!
TYSM, if my mum lets me, i am definetly buying the epomaker gk75
I love your vids, but u really need to find brands that are widely available xD
Can't recommend the Skyloong GK75 enough. I would go for the non-optical switch version myself (still under $100) but the build quality for the price can't be beat. It's insane. And the sound... so thocky and deep, if that's what you're going for. It just feels like butter. Like this review says, all the stabs come really well tuned; no pinging or rattle of any kind. Epomaker (Skyloong specifically) is king of budget boards. IMO

The k530 pro would go amazing with puddings
number four got my heart
for my british homies the rii rk908 is a solid choice at 21.99 blue switches and its a decent keyboard
Red dragon k617 fizz is a beast
Here for the sounds
I had the ck62 it was good in response time compared to other keyboards but the switches went bad after a while of abusing on Fortnite
The only person who actually knows what budget means
keychron v1 stock vs royal kludge rk h81 stock which one should i buy?
Please do a best five keyboard for programming
Oh this guy is still underrated
is the k530 pro swappable with any switches, i bought silver switches but i forgot what brand, and i wanna know if i buy this keyboard i can use my silver switches
i really need to know if the first keyboard is actually good for games where you really want fast and stable switches
0:26 yooo i got the deathadder v2 too POG edit : wait i think u have the mini... bruh
i have grey switches and i think they are the best
I am still using my "Masione LED USB Gaming Keyboard" after 8 years. I am looking for a white color one as a better alternative. Any suggestion please?
Hey I'd like to know what's the red keyboard you have on the thumbnail, thanks !

17:22 Where can I find these keycaps separately? Also the Epomaker Flamingos be compatible with Outemu Hot swap sockets?
You should try a flex seal tape mod
Would you recommend the epomaker GK75 or the TH80 pro ?
Literally looked up "budget mechanical keyboards" yesterday and had to watch an older video.
Thanks for not wasting time
I have a question about the number one spot, when i look on amazon it comes with that blue but there is pink keycaps on it, do they come with the same colored keycaps the one in your video? And does it come with the kit to remove the keycaps?
the non pro k530 is hot swappable idk what you mean i have it right here and swapped the brown switches for some reds
What are your thoughts on the Rk R87? I'm torn between Tecware Phantom + and Tecware Phantom+
@Sylveighty
Жыл бұрын
Tecware phantom + is better imo only con is the lack of wireless and 3pin hotswap (not that you have to replace the switches as they're decent anyway compared to stock royal kludge switches) As it stands, RK H81 is their current best keyboard but maybe the upcoming M75 will dethrone it
I’m looking for a budget low profile, any suggestions?
What switches did you use for number 2?
I can’t find the techware phantom + anywhere is it out of stock? or not available in the uk or?
I want low profile linear switch, is Redragon Horus series still worth to buy for about $50 now?
