So far the only item I’ve tried from Victoria Beckham are the eyeliners. I have black, brown & fig. I’m thinking of purchasing the cinnamon. They really are terrific. I think you would really like the fig. It’s a beautiful color. Your reviews are very informative & I enjoy them very much 😊

I want to try more Victoria Beckham. Especially the eyeliners. I only bought one lid luster. The black one. It’s just ok.

I am not interested in the brand because it’s out of my price range but I’m here to say that pink makeup look is pretty on you and I always love watching your content.

I felt very lucky to receive some products in PR but the Black Friday sale def made it a bit easier on the wallet as well.

I also have 6 eyeliners and love Navy Noir, Olive and Cocoa. I now just put a contour shadow in my crease, and a shimmer on my lids with the eyeliner of the day and mascara.

Hi Maaike, I think I would rather go for Lisa Eldridge over Victoria Beckham if I look what's available in their lines. I'm glad you like or love the majority of what you own. I think this is one of the brands that you need to test to appreciate the products.

Hi Maaike it’s not a brand I am desperate to try tbh. I’m really happy with the eyeliners from the Sephora brand- tons of shades, apply easily and stay put on my watery eyes. Eyeliner is something I go through relatively quickly and I hate fussing around with sharpening pencils, so retractable is my favourite format😂. The other products look nice but a lot of them are either dark or warmer toned, so less than ideal on my pale cool toned skin. I can’t see the products in person in Scotland either, so that also makes me hesitant. I do buy some higher end products and save up for them (I would rather have a few fabulous things than a lot of mediocre things), but it has to be items that I will wear regularly for them to be worth the investment. Perhaps if they extend their range to include other shades I will be more tempted 😂. Best wishes x

They have some very stunning silvers in their line. But yeah: super difficult to buy in person. I was surprised (but happy) to see them in Selfridge's.

Hoi Maaike, een compleet ongerelateerde vraag. In jouw video's heb jij het ook wel eens over Colourpop, bestel jij dit gewoon vanuit hun website? Ik lees namelijk enorm veel slechte reviews over verzending vanuit hun maar ook enorm hoge import kosten etc. Dus ik ben heel benieuwd naar jouw ervaringen 😊 Ik wil heel graag de 'super shock' producten uit proberen maar met de gigantische hoeveelheid slechte reviews durf ik het niet zo goed. Toevallig is de video die hiervoor live ging een Colourpop video dus daar leg ik ook e.e.a. uit. Ik koop al jaren bij CP en nooit problemen met ze gehad. De klantenservice kan wat rude zijn maar ik heb die ervaring wel vaker met buitenlandse merken. Qua bestellen kun je alleen via hun officiële website bestellen vanuit Nederland. Douanekosten liggen niet aan CP maar aan internationale verdragen. Die betaal je op alle bestellingen buiten de EU (China heeft hier wel vrijstelling van omdat die nog gelden als 3e wereldland). Ik zorg altijd dat ik wacht tot ze een sale hebben van minimaal 25% korting en dat ik met mn bestelbedrag boven de grens voor gratis verzenden uitkom. Dan is de prijs incl douanekosten uiteindelijk ongeveer hetzelfde als de gewone prijs. Let wel op dat je onder een bepaald bedrag blijft. Ik weet uit mn hoofd niet hoeveel, maar daarboven betaal je ook invoerrechten. CP heeft de neiging om op het douaneformulier het volledige bedrag zonder kortingen te vermelden (ook dat doen eigenlijk alle merken ivm wettelijke verplichtingen), dus zorg dat je tussen de 50 en 100 dollar bljjft met je bestelling en dan zit je altijd safe. Kortom alle zure reacties die ik weleens voorbij zie komen liggen wat mij betreft vooral aan mensen die goedkoop willen shoppen en dan boos worden omdat CP zich houdt aan wettelijke verplichtingen. Budgetteer en houd er rekening mee (er zijn websites waarop je het uit kunt rekenen hoeveel er ongeveer bijkomt) en dan is het prima te doen voor een keertje. Maar zo goedkoop als US influencers je doen geloven wordt het nooit en ben je ervan bewust dat CP zich niet houdt aan EU standaarden voor makeup. Dit betekent dat ze met meer weg kunnen komen en de kwaliteit tussen producten kan verschillen. Daarom worden ze in Europa nergens verkocht. De EU heeft de strengste regels voor beauty en makeup ter wereld en daar voldoen ze niet aan. Oh en als ze kortingen hebben dan besteld iedereen. Dus ja het kan 6-8 weken duren voordat je je pakketje krijgt. Maar ook dat is normaal en ligt niet aan CP maar aan USPS.

@@FloatinginDreams Ontzettend bedankt voor de uitgebreide informatie. Dit helpt echt enorm. Ik sla CP als merk dan toch maar over, zeker gezien de kwaliteit ook echt per keer kan verschillen. Een goed excuus om een keer naar Amerika te gaan en daar te shoppen haha. Nogmaals echt bedankt!
