Aw thanks! I loved the look as well. The top doesn't get much air time as it is a short sleeved knit but the weather we are currently having is perfect for it.

Your brown eyes are gorgeous in that warm tone look you’re wearing today!!! It’s nice that you can enjoy a variety of tones from the color spectrum. Makeup should be fun and I agree that we shouldn’t feel bound by “rules” that are, I think, there to help those who want/ need guidance in HOW to wear makeup. Artistically speaking, whether it’s in the world of visual arts, music, literature- once you know and are fluent with the “rules,” then… you can step outside and break them. I believe that’s where our ultimate creativity is expressed!

Yes I agree with that but that is not how the concept of color seasons are promoted online. The amount of people I have seen getting a color analysis to use as an excuse to buy an entirely new wardrobe is astounding and I don't want to add fuel to the fire. Rather I want to promote finding your style and individuality regardless of what the rules say.

I really appreciate your discussion about how different colors impact your brown eyes. I like your lilac top with the warm eye look!

Haven't bought many palettes in the last few years, just I pick up the occasional Colourpop offering at Target, so most of my collection is "older" by YT standards. All of yours are worthy choices! I'm all about cool tones too, but at least in summer/fall warm tones don't look garish on me.

Hi Maaike of these I only have the Fenty cool neutrals. On me it looks warmer tbh and isn’t really cool enough alone. I tend to use a different shade in my crease and then it works better (I think it’s the pinky matte that really pulls too warm on me). I bought it at tkmaxx and I am glad I didn’t pay full price for it tbh. I have a cool undertone and warmer shades make me look unwell (I wish I was more neutral to allow more things to work for me😂). I also have grey eyes and that probably makes it look even warmer. It’s fine and the formula is nice, but it’s not an everyday pick for me. Best wishes x

I think putting other things with it is a must. Even for me. It's just not very distinct enough for me to pull a look together.

I love these videos. I have some old Max factor singles I still love and use. I started this year on a no buy now that we’re m June and I made past the fist couple months which I wax Dying through I think I might finish out 2024 is nearby money I can’t believe it and I’m getting so much good use out of what I have

Love your attitude to colours and colour theory- which is generally my own although I do recognise I do very much have 'me' colours that suit me whatever the occasion (I'm a 'Bright Autumn' apparently, though I'm not too sure what that actually means, if anyone can enlighten me please do!). I really like seeing you wearing warm tones especially when you mix them with cool toned clothes, mixing warm and cool has always been my vibe so I might be biased- but I think you look great 👍

Wear what you like and don't overthink it. I think I may be a soft autumn, but I am not sure. Everyone keeps giving me different suggestions in the comments. From light spring to deep winter and everything in between. Lolz.

@@FloatinginDreams I can see why they would! A lot of different colours and looks suit you. Defo not a bad thing! I don't really think anyone can 'diagnose' the tone of someone's skin etc. accurately anyway, let alone accurately on camera/film (my 'colours' were 'done' by an ex-bf's mum who sat me down one day, squinted at me sideways, then declared my 'Bright Autumnness' with great authority yet didn't elaborate beyond that so it's not been much use to me over the years! 😂)

Hello, do you keep an eye on the expiration date (PAO), or do you use it as long as it looks OK? I think you have a lot of cosmetics

Makeup is fine to use as long as the texture, smell and integrity of the product is still okay. The 'expiration' date on the back of products actually isn't an expiration date. It's just an indication for how long the manufacter ensures prime condition of the product. Doesn't mean you can't use it after that.
