Amazfit offline maps is a joke, no labels, no turn by turn direction, and you can only download the area you're going to be. I have all of north america, Africa and Europe. I have turn by turn direction, back track, detailed maps with labels, places of interest and so much more.

Casio GPR B1000 is immortal ive been using this for 5 years now never ever have to charge just use and use because of its solar power.

I love it! I haven't taken to hiking or walking to check the GPS, but I used it in the gym and the heart rate agrees with what I see on the equipment. In fact, I also tested it against my wrist HB tester and they read identical value 2x times I tested it. The sleep time was also on the spot. The only negative is that I had to charge it after 5 days of light use.

You want to go hunting or camping, hiking, sports adventures, great check these out. Soldiers can't wear watches like these. They can be tracked on satellite and GPS. They would give away positions on the battlefield. Even fitbits can be tracked.

Personally i think the T-rex 2 fail "Tactical grade" or even "Survival grade", not only does it not have Solar charging but it also will fail as a basic time keeping watch if it's not connected to a Bluetooth mobile phone for more than 3 days. At least the Suunto Traverse Alpha can sync to GPS to maintain time zone accuracy, only it's a shame that it has no solar charging.

Well, depend on the price of the watch. With solar charging, it's price will go up a lot. T-Rex 2 price means to be affordable for low budget consumers. I think has to compare watches in same range of price. Quality is proportional to price. 😅

Exactly they don't last long enough between battery charges to be effective instruments of any serious service.

My t-rex was taken away by 2meters wave barrel. I survived, but not thanks to the watch.

Good video. I'm looking for new watch. I had Amazfit trex, great watch, nice battery, unfortunately few weeks after guarantee was gone watch just die. When you plugged in to charge will show you 100% battery, when unplugged not working at all. Nobody will fix it. So no more Amazfit.

I just got the trex 2. So far so good.

None of them win because a professional wears a watch which cannot be tracked that is the whole point ...to fly under the radar especially thesedays with the tracking capabilities available.

Terrible comparison video. Every watch was compared differently. Talked about almost zero features of the Garmin's, but went into way more detail on the other watches. The Fenix 7x solar you showed has the features of all those watches, plus it's not made of plastic like your number one choice, it's titanium. Then you talk about how rugged the plastic and composite cases are. These are not equal comparisons.

Naturally, everything here is rigged! Just 2-3 words each for the two Garmin models, and for the other brands in general review...I'm not a fan of Garmin, but in my opinion between these models in this review, I think Garmin is the best!

The most hardcore in this list should be the G-Shock, but pricewise, it is expensive.. but worth it.. If I'm hiking solo, got lost in the wood or anywhere even in the artic.. G-Shock would be the most helpfull
