    Good advice brother! Try not to compare your beard to anyone else. Don't look at Spence and say my beard sucks compared to him or any others. Be patient and it will get there and in the end you have to rock what you have and be happy!

    I managed to lop a chunk way off way too high up my neckline towards my jaw about a month ago and it looked ridiculous. I faded down the rest a bit to make it even, have grown the whole lot back a fair bit now already and it's feeling great again, but not QUITE where I want it. Amazed at how much thicker it's become because of that length. Growth time has been about 2 - 3 months

    First full Grizzly Adams style beard I grew when I was 18. There were no products back then. Since I discovered the benefit I have tried many brands and since I found Live Bearded I only buy one other product but LB finally made a beard conditioner so that will likely replace it. I’ve been using your stuff since the days of white packaging. You all have improved on it and developed new products (can’t wait for the utility spray) along the way. Thanks my bearded brothers and for those of you just starting your journey or picking it up again stay the course, use beard oil for the itchy phase and always for that matter, and you will have a glorious beard. The only downside for me is I shaved my head so it was just shower and go, now that I keep a longer beard my wife asks me if I’m ready yet.

    How much oil are you using brother? Are you making sure to massage the oil into the skin under your beard? Check out this video our brother Pete put together - livebearded.com/blogs/do-better/how-to-apply-beard-oil?_pos=8&_sid=ba5f7aa04&_ss=r

    Rock it brother! I am in the same boat. My chin has most of the hairs, I have a great handlebar mustache but the cheeks are light. We do have a beard boost that helps promote and speed up hair growth. Check it out here - livebearded.com/products/beard-growth-vitamins-beard-boost?variant=18343406211&?_pos=2&_sid=ef7c7e9ed&_ss=r

    If we evolved to have body hair and beards, then shouldn't our body produce enough oil ? Is it our modern diets or perhaps the chemicals and soaps our skin is exposed to. Also, my beard hates the boar's hair brush. It feels scratchy on the skin and frizzes up the beard hairs, what am I doing wrong

  • @livebearded

    @livebearded

    2 жыл бұрын

    You are correct, but as our beards grow they draw away our natural oils because the hairs on our chins are a lot more corse than the hairs on the top of our heads. Just as the name suggests, brushes with boar bristles come from the hairs of boars. This is why the bristles are so thick and coarse and feel like they're scratching at the skin. It's really good for bringing circulation to the skin which can help with hair follicle activation and better growth. great for shorter beards but also great for training the hair to lay down. You can always email us over at support@livebearded.com, always got our back!

    These videos do help to minimize mistakes but just remember you can't be perfect at trimming right away. To become a master trimmer mistakes will be made along the way. If you haven't jacked your beard up you still have a lot to learn. Don't shy away from trimming because you messed up once. You will know the next time what NOT to do. Live bearded my friends!🤙
