@@theprofessional155 I was ( years old when I played black ops 1 when my dad used to play. The Act Man is another KZreadr who reviewed black ops 1. He said that the mature rating isn’t just because of the language and the guns, but also because you need the maturity to understand the historical context.

Another Black Ops 1 reference you missed was in the mission Desperate Measures after Bell and Adler rescue Belikov while the gas detonates. The part where Bell and Adler put their gas masks. That was a reference to the Mask Walk in the mission Rebirth where Hudson, Weaver and his team deployed their gas masks while wearing their Hazmat suits after the Nova 6 gas was deployed.

When it comes to COD villains (excluding real life figures), you have 3 types: 1) Mastermind: Zakaev, Makarov, Dragovich, Menendez, Kevin Spacey's character in AW, and Barkov 2) Brute force/terrorists: Al-Assad, Kravchenko, Warrabe, DeFalco, Roarke, the Butcher, and the Wolf 3) Booksmarts: Steiner and Volk

I suspect Zakhaev already knew/ suspected that Belikov was the mole. Reguardless of how well you cover your tracks when you play as Belikov, he still gets outed and has to be rescued by you and Adler later on.

Hey Pro, great video! The planes are different: in BO1, it's a Lockheed C-130; while in Cold War, it looks like it’s an Antonov An-225, but with 4 turboprop engines (unlike the real one, which has 6 turbofan engines)

The an-225 has 3 engines and a split tail design. I’m not sure which exactly this plane is but it looks to be more of a An-124 but it’s not.

After finishing up the campaign recently I waited to watch this video and I miss pretty much everything except 1 and 2. And I played BO1 back in November 2020

One of the reasons I buy it is for the story too. Great video

I feel like Zakhaev and Kravchenko were leaning towards belikov being the mole as you see they whisper to each other and look at belikov.

This was a really good campaign

In the season one trailer Adler stabs the same eye weaver was stabbed in by Kravchenko in BO1, he even says this is for weaver.

Do black ops 2 references,1 I can think of is menendez cartel from the multiplayer online. Unless there's not enough easter eggs.

The plane in Black Ops One is an C-130 transport plane, the plane in Cold War is a AN-225 with 4 propellers instead of 6 turbo engines.

The first part I couldn't tell if it was a reference to BO or lazy haha.

You left out the secret part of the deal that ended the Cuban Missile Crisis, that the US would take our nukes out of Turkey (the USSR equivalent to having Nukes in Cuba).

There’s one big point you missed in the Cuban missile crisis solution, the American military had to remove all nuclear warheads from Europe as part of the deal so that neither side had an advantage

I would like to say that there are alternative universe versions of Black Ops' characters in the Modern Warfare games, and alternate universe versions of Modern Warfare's characters in the Black Ops games from Zakhaev's appearance in Cold War.

@@theprofessional155 I kind of agree on that, although it felt very weird to see Zakhaev in the Black Ops universe at first glance.

He comes back a year later in bo2

For those who are confused or whatever about the canon for Black Ops 2, yes it is still Canon. At least the past missions are. Idk how they're gonna handle the 2025 missions but the past ones wherein you play as Mason or Woods definitely are. See, Black Ops Cold War takes place in '81 whereas those missions from BO2 are set in '86 and i think in '89. So no need to worry about whether the timelines add up.

It’s been 7 god damn years they never released a part 2 they just left it there, we don’t know what happened next

I absolutely loved this game but that ending made me never want to play the game again, the "Good" ending feels like they just wanted an excuse to get rid of Bell and the bad ending just felt like it was put there for the sake of choice and not to really amount to anything other than just giving players an outlet once they've went through the other ending. Great video but man those endings soured the story for me.

So-called good ending shows that world isn't black white and these good guys are not so good. Adler I think that he does evil thing like killing Bell for so-called greater good.

Yes, Perseus was a real thing but to this day the CIA doesn’t know who or what it was all they know was that Perseus leaked info about American nukes or the Manhattan project and a lot of the missions such as mount yamantau is a real place that was held as a secret base by the soviets and the Berlin Wall and it’s army and secret police was a real thing though the only thing that’s not real is the characters
