jack happ I'm a scout on battlefield 1, I do get revived a good amount of times during my matches. Thank God medics are in that game because I don't think I would get as many kills. Today I got my highest score, 40 kills and 14 deaths but i guess it's because I use the gewehr 95 to engage in combat more often.

As a sniper this video was pretty accurate. Now to dispel myths... 1. Snipers do not shit or pee their pants. I've never done that or have known anyone to do that in the modern world of combat. I've have been on long stalks crawling for hours and have never had the need to shit my pants. 2. Surveillance Target Acquisition is the technical term most commonly referred to as (STA). 3. Many snipers in todays theaters work in squads. You have a shooter and spotter (typically most senior shooters) and other snipers (typically juniors) who provide security, set up claymores etc... in order to ensure ambushes do not happen. 4. The ghillie suit is cool looking but annoying AF and ichy. 5. Yes snipers on video games do not present an accurate representation. Sniper rifles are heavy, no such thing as quick scoping, jump shots or drop shots. 6. Lastly the video is right when it said the spotter is the most experienced. They have the hardest job and is control of the shooter. The shooter does everything the spotter tells him to do. Good video

I cringe when watching films regarding snipers and their face's are poorly camouflaged. Sneaking around with pink lips, eyelids are skin white.. Camouflage everything! Paint you're entire face, don't half ass it, or you'll be killed. I learned this the hard way. Show up for inspection to an officer with a small part of your left eyelid not camouflaged? Taste the mud.

Less than $100 Establish base line fps for your ammo. Measure you rounds OAL and separate them in groups of matching or close OAL> (over all length). Literally learn to shooting between heartbeats. I shot a .33" best group my first time EVER shooting a Savage 110 I had accurized. I had enough data (massive amount JUST for my baseline) recorded to take a cold shot out to 800 yards with >308 Federal Gold Medal Match See my channel for details and target confirmation.

This is the best Rainbow Six in my opinion, totally different from the latest one. The greatest sniper who ever lived, Simo Hayha who had 505 confirmed kills for Finland during the Winter War in under 100 days with a Mosin M/28-30 rifle, oh, and it never had a scope on it, all of his kills were performed with open sights. The scopes of that time would fog up in the cold and Simo said having a scope meant he had to pick his head up more, exposing himself to the enemy. What Simo was though, was an expert hunter, even after he was badly wounded and after the war.

Number 1 is actually a common misconception. You see, we snipers do occasionally come out of hiding during the spring to mate and search for food after a long winter hibernation. Often times you may hear our mating calls coming from the hills. The call is a combination of rustling branches and erotic groans we make when we are in heat. Sometimes finding a mate can be challenging, and since we mate for life, we sometimes specify our calls to preferable individuals by using pick-up lines. My personal pickup line goes thusly: "Hey babe, are you a handload? Because I'm gunna shove you against the lands and put a hot charge behind ya." Another personal favorite: "Hey babe, are you a Timney Trigger? Cuz you just set me off unintentionally." Number 5 is also not quite accurate (no pun intended). You see, Spotters are actually just young Snipers that aren't quite fully grown. Being the maternally caring species we are, snipers often care for their young spotter until he/she becomes of age. Once the young spotter has grown to become a sexually mature sniper, he/she is ready to receive his/her rifle. Rifle reception is a very important moment in a young sniper's life. If lucky, the young sniper will receive a good rifle, like the new M2010's that the US army has adopted, or an Accuracy International AXMC rifle, or perhaps Barret's M107, or maybe even a Mausingfield Custom chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor and paired with a KRG Habu Chassis. I myself would very much have liked a Sako M10. If the young sniper is unlucky... well... he or she may wind up with an old rusty Remington 700 with a replacement bolt that hasn't been properly headspaced. Or worse, a Savage rifle..... *shivers*. However, most snipers like myself have landed somewhere inbetween. Many of us walking around with Tikka T3x Semi-Customs, Trued Remington 700s, Ruger Precision Rifles, maybe the occasional Mossberg MVP. The important thing to remember is, we are mammals just like you, and should be treated with the respect and understanding we deserve. Thank you for your time.

You forgot to add a fact in: Snipers don't just shoot any time they like as you see in video games and movies. Most of the time, Snipers provide reconnaissance of enemy activity to their base, radioing in coordinates which allows them to utilize their deadliest weapon in their arsenal: an Air Strike.

I live out in the sticks somewhere in Britain, near a foresty place full of deer. And there is this guy who was a sniper in the army who is now payed to cull the deer so they don't overpopulate and cause problems. But he isn't a jerk so he uses a silencer so as not to scare the deer and he also uses a type of exploding bullets that shrapnel on impact to ensure the deer is most definitely put out of it's misery. And he never misses.

well, a line, mathematically defined, is a straight path between two points, right? However, a point has no volume; no width, height or depth. If a line has no width, height or depth, it doesn't exist. Lines don't exist.

I'm surprised the video didn't talk about Simo Hayha, the deadliest sniper in history. He had over 500 confirmed kills, sniped without a scope, in the freezing cold, survived artillery strikes and anti-snipers directed at him, and recovered after an exploding bullet blew off part of his face.

Caleb Sanders aye exactly slowing breath not stopping it that always pisses me off in games where it's like stop breathing for like 7 seconds then horrible scope wobble. so unrealistic I've never once held my breath behind a scope but always slowed. besides who can only hold there breath for 7 seconds? personally my best is 2 minutes and 17 seconds. granted that's just standing there doing nothing so while doing something I'm sure that time would be shorter
