The Mosque is really near a Cathedral, if I'm not mistaken, the Cathedral is right in front of Istiqlal Mosque. When both big days arrive, those 2 religious place share their parking lot for each other. For example when Eids come and Muslims want to do Eid prayer, from what I know, the Cathedral would share their parking lot for the Muslims who want to go to Istiqlal Mosque. I read an article that basically says that Istiqlal Mosque would share the parking lot for Christian for the Christmas last December 2022. Correct me if I'm wrong.
