The Sughihara....the last, rare, difficult turn. The 2nd favorite: The Wevers.

The first one is horrible

The Sugihara is my favorite, but I will always have a place in my ❤️ for the Okino. I trained at the Karolyi gym in '89/'90, and I remember watching her work on her triple turn. While I didn't have the fondest memories there, I really enjoyed getting to meet & interact with the gymnasts from Bela's "six pack", to which Betty was a later addition. She & I are both from the Chicago area. I always enjoyed talking to her. Betty is such a lovely person, and I always love watching her gymnastics.

The Okino is wayyy harder than the triple wolf.

i as someone who danced and figure skated personally find it kinda odd that gymnasts are often allowed to just let their arms do kinda whatever. like if that were dance or skate they’d have to be perfect and still but gymnasts are allowed to wiggle them around to keep balance.

I took too many years of ballet - the wonky arms are so off putting to me.

It's overrated. 😢😢😢

You missed illusion turn

Sugihara, Okino, Wevers, in that order.

Wevers’ arms when she does the triple turn. She floats. Mesmerizing

I like all except wolf turn.

The Sugihara must be damn nerve-racking!! It's one of the most beautiful turns done on beam yet very few skilled gymnasts can actually pull it off!
