That's unspoken of. But again, need hands. Lots of the richest early game bossers every league played my builds. HH / Mageblood day 2-3 kind of players. I'm not sure the point of the video though, Snap's builds are never recommended, he just says what they will do, he's the first to say it's not for everyone. And any group playing off notice board or party finder in game aren't actually party players. They're solo players playing in a party. Huge difference.

I kinda get it, but why would you turn off the aurabot in snaps build that is literally made to be a 6 man party carry?? The whole point of his build is to have all of those buffs active because he is playing EXCLUSIVELY with a 6 man party

i played manabond mjolner during 3.21, loved it. It works exactly how it is described. Conner even says that different people get currency at different rates and what pieces you need to get the build functional, not when it will be functional. He also walks his talk when you check the delve ladder.

I am a casual player (I get to play like 3-4 hours a day) and I started with subtractem's Frostblink guide two or three leagues ago (can't remember when he first showed it) and it did exactly what a league starter is meant to do. Complete the atlas, gather up some currency to invest in a new build, etc. I did not get any T1 unique. Sorry, but the build actually works with a fairly low budget

Man... two of the best league starts I ever played are on this list.

I've had great starts with mana stackers but I dont know if I'd try it this league. Early, cheap endgame gear is a huge reason why mana builds can start strong and that won't be a thing with everyone and their mother playing archmage. I dont think connor was being deceptive though, the arcane cloak loop and minimum gear requirements are taken for granted if you've played mana builds for a while.

You might be mentally ill if you think Snap is giving people league starter guides, its a PoB for a 6man party with supports

I agree alot with what's been said here. Only caviat would be putting Ghazzy in here while talking about creators "stealing" builds. Ghazzy was very adamant about making sure Pr3vie got the attention for his BAMA build and refused to put anything out before getting the go ahead from Pr3vie himself while also linking it all to his channels and promotional content, just like he deserves and how it should be. It's all about consent in my opinion, there's a good way to do it and a bad one.

I still use his Zoomancer build as league starter. Except day 1 when GGG messed up with the ascendancy, I farmed 8-mods T16 Harvest with that build

Just pick opposite of meta. Mana stack/bowbuilds/minion builds meta. Just go poison/ignite/miner/trapper/ new essence drain has 50% more damage added to gem. cyclone slayer/flicker strike bla bla endless cheap builds compared to meta cucks. If you are new player, just make a lab farmer, you make more money till you hard juice and you can sell meta cucks transfigured gems.

Two things usually are the major factor of why a build doesn’t work. One being not following the guide properly. Countless times I’ve seen people ask for help with manabond and seeing them having wrong jewelry or just wrong tree etc. the other times are just a skill issue in understanding the mechanics behind it.

subractems frostblink is actually really good. Also used his SRS guardian last league (first league of poe ive been part of) and it worked insanely well. you be trippin

I'm cooking up a desdeye build, and i won't play with anyone because I've had a lot of my csst on crit builds stolen in the past. I made one that scaled phys and cold dmg, spectral throw, aoe nodes and coc glacial cascade, ethreal knives and arc with chaos conversion and leach on both phys and magic. It was for hc, i died close to lvl 90. But yeah at the time it was comparable clear speed to vaal spark. With the AOE i didn't use conc effect, i used inc AOE and took most the aoe nodes. Shadow start. It was very straightforward and i used it for my starter. I farmed dry lake b4 maps to lvl 80. This was 8 years ago.

To be honest I league started connors mana stacker Mjölner and I was able to get most uniques in 3-5 days but that might have only been because necro league unique prices were all over the place. build is a lot of fun

Even if you have SOME points, one of the most obnoxious af videos I have ever seen. How you can listen to yourself and not hear social reject is beyond me. But anyway, connor's build is quite doable on league start, you don't need indigion till red maps and in yellows you can farm for that just fine. You need day 1 mjolnir though so prepare to do some chaos recipe's. And this is also only an issue if you specifically want to start day 1 or 2, there are enough league starters that work very well after the first few days of launch week.

I actually start with Frostblink Ignite but only for white and yellow where I will switch to my Maw. Yeah good old WoC would be better but I already did that so often.

I remeber there was a bosser build last league, made by a guy speaking russian. He is using negative lightning res, crit multi amulet, 3 additional arrow on equipment, infinite warcry power -> rage+berserk, and huge flate lightning damage to kill uber. would like to see if this is still viable in 3.24. the only nerf matters is the 80% attack speed efffectivness. I think it is a great build for this specialization. very budget friendly.

Umm most of the players u mention say it’s not a normal “budget” league starter and actually explain thru the video what ur first upgrades are. Plus if you’re playing at the same caliber of these players all of those items are quite obtainable in the first few days of league start. Even if not you can still obtain the gear over a week or 2 of play. Just don’t be a potato and actually take time to learn the builds and actually understand them and what kind of resources u need to pump into them. Till then quit the shit posting if not gonna watch the videos all the way thru and listen to what they’re saying.

While I do agree with your opinion for the most part. But hating on Connor just defeats your own agenda, he is a small yter that makes guides for his community. He explained in the video that the early version is build on his own snapshots from previous leagues. If i remember correctly he even says that its not a league starter just a guide how he does it. Why Cherry pick your points and clips when there is so much trash content out there. Makes it seam like you don't do your research

Conner's mana build is fine. My friend is playing his second league ever. He has been following it(against my advice), and he has all of the uniques in the build besides the watchers eye. He also has more realistic versions available in pob. The actual starter had no uniques besides a 1c staff member that wasn't even 6 linked. So, while it may not be the best league starter, a brand new player having the build ready within a week isn't some absurd build.

Doesn't seem fair to put Conner in here. First, he says he makes end game builds. Also, the "league starter" build he recommends is BV archmage that transitions into mjolner once you get some cash. You just have to assume that 2-3 day gear for a youtuber is 48-72 hours of playing, which is about a month in for a casual like me. In fact, I'm playing his mjolner build and I'm about at that point now. It's a fun build.

Came here to say this I think this dude is farming rage bait I've never heard of Exile Mage till now.

I'm not as salty as this guy but I believe that some poe content creators are a detriment to the balance of the game. You can go really far into the game with a theory crafted build and game mechanics knowledge. Honestly, you don't need 8 million dps to beat most of the bosses, if you have a strategy worked out and time you can do it with a 1 mil build. The main focus is defensive layers and passive tree understanding.

I guess someone googled "ragebait" and decided to make a channel around it. Will check back at some point to see how well it works

Feels good to just make your own builds, I usually decide on a skill, get couple pobs to get inspiration from and make up something for myself, usually 2 versions, a day 1-2 with no items (capped res in config all items empty besides weapons) and something that has good items and that should be able to do the content I plan to do with it.

You can comfortably play the game, the channel is overly toxic even if he is trying to make a point and it is pushing people like you away from the game. You can go to Poe ninja and click on the build tab and pick a skill you like, once u start the game and follow the skill tree with your own alterations and just have fun learning the game. You don't need to watch build videos or you'll never play the game.

I remember following a guide, for some reason my damage was way way lower than pob from guide with similar gear besides the weapon...but the damage difference was too big, and I noticed that the guide had a different skill gem that was not mentioned anywhere

Biggest bait of the league is definitely Allie's splitting steel trickster.

Some of what you are saying is true, but some of its silly. Hate to say this, but with an 8-12 hour play session 3 days into the league, an experienced POE player who is running solo or as a duo with an Aurabot on leaguestart can easily print several divines an hour with jewels, boots, rings and fragments. Its not unreasonable to have several t1 uniques 3 days into the league before the price spikes. You are correct in saying that a lot of the uniques featured in these builds will be extra costly this league though, especially with the Archmage changes. The main issue with most of these "League Starter" builds is not that they are lying or inaccurate, but that they assume a player has 1000's of hours and can move quickly and efficiently, while also having a firm enough grasp on the economics of the game to be able to make decent currency with minimum investment during their progression push. I also dont like when big streamers essentially copy paste builds and claim its their own work, especially when so many of the designed starters are basically cookie cutter versions of the same thing with minor tweaks or changes. But a couple of the guys you mentioned in this video do good, honest work and create builds I havent seen anywhere else. Consider your position when assessing a viewpoint, it likely colours your assessment much more than youd think

Conner is a turbomaxxer. His gear is fine for day 2-3 of the league, anyone can get that much gear if they farm early and progress fast. Mjolnir is only 30c at the start of the league, you can make that in less than 30 minutes. 1 divine is incredibly cheap and I'm tired of you scrubs acting like 2-3 divine items is impossible to obtain in 3 days.

I ran one of these builds and cruised into yellow maps with crappy acts gear. Get bent

those t1 uniqes still under 1 divine and if you cant afford those you are just bad play your build and farm white maps if you dont want to follow any of those builds without any knowledge of the game ofc you stuck
