Excellent video. Totally didn't expect any of the bug challengers to survive.

Throw that spider an easy meal. It exerted a lot of energy for nothing. 👌

The bite of these species does not pose a threat to humans or pets, and they are generally reluctant to bite, preferring instead to hide or escape.

At 5:44 the spider reacts to the Marmorated Stinkbugs smelly defensive secretion..icky..icky.. And was suprisingly ineffective at biting the Earwig.

Its a bit strange to me how come this type of spider have not learned to simply web up the prey to pacify it and then later trying to bite it, when it can no longer defend itself. Many other spiders does that.

They often come out at night and stalk prey outside of the web using their speed. Even large flies can often easily escape them in the daytime.

@@axxomovies-he6zi Yes iv had Tarantulas on/off since i was 7 when i got my first one. I mainly focus on the big Theraphosa species thats consiered the biggest in the world, but ofc have other kinds too. Of true spiders i just recently got some slings of the "wandering tiger spider" or whatever they call it lol. Latin name Cupiennius salei. Super cool spider and so fast that i suspect it can teleport.

@@luffebassen That's so cool! I have arachnophobia but I'm starting to get over it . Don't think I'm ready to come face to face with a wondering spider just yet! They are badasses 😂

Labrynth spiders are awesome. In my opinion the tube web spider, labrynth spider, european mouse spider and noble widow are the best spiders in england.

I fed my adult male an ear wig and surprisingly he killed it straight away with 1 or 2 bites and I have a question what should I feed a baby house spider because he/she is only about 1cm in length and he/she is still fairly light in colour

Since wasps, yellow jackets and hornets are natural enemies of spiders, they have to be cautious about the approach taken to subdue them, especially wolf spiders and Tarantulas. Most times the wasps win, but they have a much more difficult time with web spinning spiders because of the stickiness of the web itself.

Vo back some 45+ years and there was a garden spiders web by our front door. So all sorts of insects, et al, went into her Web when she was there. Earwigs were a favorite of hers. She'd rush out, wrap it in silk then give it the bite of death. Even a wasp wasn't a problem. Though she had to think about how to deal with it before carefully dispatching it the same was the wasp went. I even put a stink bug into the Web. She just wrapped it up then cut it lose nd it fell to the ground. I even put invertebrates like centipedes into the Web. She had no problem. But a great video. Did you ever introduce a male to her?
