All the stuff he does, if a scientist would just try and get something from him, blood samples or what not. they can build antibodies for the immune system. It’s crazy what he does. But sample’s degrade and it depends what he got stung with, just curious to see what the human antibodies do after. And if it makes ppl more resilient. And it would be interesting if ppl monitor his health, , I know that sounds crazy. But take ‘em and find out what other harm some disease is. Every time I watch him, I’m like ohhh nooo! And I, clenched, but also wonder if it’s doing the body better after or worse. Of course don’t go and get bitten by things, he’s a pro and takes care.

@@fatsuperfly well King Mithridates took some much arsenic (diluted in small doses) over the course of his life because he was always paranoid of being poisoned that when the Romans came and he wanted to commit suicide by ingesting arsenic he couldn't because he became immune to it and had to ask a soldier to cut his head off or stab him. That's how you mainly train the immune system into becoming prepared to deal with like everything and also why staying in a sterile bubble is detrimental because all you do is make yourself so weak that you die by the most common flu/pathogens. Heck, at that point even stuff that is only conditionally-pathogen and only becomes an issue with severe AIDS and AIDS-like syndromes will become a life threatening issue. While this guy doesn't get stung on a daily basis by the same insect, he got bitten by so many insects that he definitely has an improved resistance compared to us common folk.
I love that he goes from being scared out of his mind at the last worm and in no time embraced it like he made a new friend! At first, I was horrified just by the way it looks, but I couldn't help but feel the same endearment he had when it rolled around in his hands like a puppy. It suddenly became so cute!
When i was a kid, he was my IDLE! I used to love watching him. My mom knew I loved watching him too, so i even got to go into a zoom meeting with him! It was amazing and I couldn't stop smiling. It makes me smile to still see him posting :)

Hey Coyote, don't feel pressured to make it all about being bitten. I personally love the biology portion of the video and love learning about animals. I get that a lot of people want to see the action, but there isn't a part to me that's the "real entertainment." The whole video is entertaining!

This has to be one of my favorite episodes in quite a while, I absolutely love that you’re not afraid to make videos about animals as unique as annelids. Bloodworms are the species I grew up working with, but the clam worm is probably my favorite among these guys. The quality of the message and the education in this video really made it stand out to me, your content is always top notch but I think this is a really good modern expression of your classic video style. Great stuff as always, BW team!
GOOD GOD YOU’RE ALIVE! I know what pain you have been through, you’re pretty brave, if I just saw worms like those I would freak out even though they look very interesting. You’re like immune to every poisonous thing on the world. Thanks for telling us to be careful.
