The angle grinder is my favourite tool. With the attachments you can get for it you can make damn near anything. It’s amazing. 👏👍

Well done better than I have seen. some of the horror applications off Grinderett's ( a UK term for hand held grinders ) I.E. The small grinder with a chain saw blade wrapped around its disc.

I get so inspired by these videos. My last project, I made an angle grinder from an old lathe. Works pretty good but it's awfully heavy

Another way to cut perfectly straight lines on metal is to use a metal guide clamped to the metal you're cutting and let the cutter blade ride against that metal guide. I do that all the time and get perfect results... Thumbs Up!

I've also used certain grinder blades riding against a wooden straight edge clamped to the material to achieve the same perfect results!

I turn my comments off for the reasons I can see in this list of comments: people projecting their own fears into those who don't suppress/avoid their own feelings which is what actually causes "accidents" in the first place. These are absolutely genuineness, and am grateful for you sharing these ideas!

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzread.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

pre-drilling for "Sel-tapping" screws seems odd. But these cideos are very well done and deserve consideratoin even though most people will not devise their own tools but merely go out and buy one. Thanks for your input.

I disagree with you guys. Most of those tools are too expensive for some ppl. As long as youre careful and you used plenty of common sense, the diy is where its at. And you guys cant sit there and tell me serious accidents dont happen with your store bought tools. I bet if we looked up the stats ppl are hurt more with store bought tools. Its not a matter of this guy making something dangerous. It depends on the user. There are morons everywhere. Thats not this guys fault. You guys are being ridiculous. This guy is just trying to show folks how to save some money.
