My fiance's k1 visa interview got denied and they asked for more information and resubmit more evidence. I think they called this the green paper more evidence to see if it's bonifide. I had a question if this gets denied can I Go to Vietnam and marry her there and then apply for a spousal visa. Someone said I had to wait two years for this. I just checked the USCIS processing time web site for Vermont and it says: Fiancè visa K-1 are 80% processed in 7 months Spousal visa K-3 are 80% processed in 14 months That seems to be a huge improvement from just a few months ago. What are your thoughts?

Hi, I have question, can k1 visa be denied because my fiance being into jail for a reason driving a car and his drunk?

I want to ask a question .what about someone who has married before to somebody in the US and the person filled out for a spouse visa and the person got refused. Later the married didn't work again and they got divorced. This same person meets his old-time relationship who also happens to reside in the US, and this girlfriend who resides in the US decides to file in finance for him. The question is, will he be given this type of visa to him without any issue raised from the previous married he had?

May i ask our deadline was 10 January, 2021. We sent our form 129f by the fast service USPS on the 6,January, 2022, they guaranteed it will arrive on 7, January, 2022. For K1 visa, you need to submit i-134 not i-864. Why did they ask you to submit i-864?

hello, my k1 visa application arrived 2 weeks before the 2 year date of me leaving my fiances home country, the last day I saw her. I'm worried this is too close to the deadline. If I was granted my divorce decree in the US, but there is a 30 day wait period before I can marry again. Is it ok to send the packet within that 30 day wait period. Or should I wait until after that?

I just submitted my K1 visa the other day and waiting for it to arrive to their offices. I’m afraid I might be denied due to my beneficiary’s passport photo being pixelated due to it being photographed copied from the copy machine. I met my boyfriend online in June. It will be almost 6 months since we met. He came to visit me in October with his cousin. everything went well. I also met other family members online. Now we want to get married, but meeting again before marriage may force us financially. If I apply for an American tourist visa for this purpose and get rejected, will my k-1 visa process be negatively affected? Also, does being together for 6 months create an obstacle for k-1? I'm in the last year of my university and my career will take shape when I finish school. If I'm going to have a career in a foreign country, I need to take a quick step to adapt there. but I wonder if this short process will be a problem for the k-1 visa. Due to Covid travel restrictions, it was about three days past two years when I sent the application in. Everything else in our packet and case is perfectly in order. Will the application be denied because of a couple of days? If that happens can it be remedied? The two year meeting matter was totally due to Covid preventing me to travel to spend time with her again.

Hi and thank you for the informational video. I have a question on passport documentation because I am a little confused after viewing several videos. Some videos state that photocopies should be made of your passport including the front and back cover of the passport and blank pages as well. Other videos state only the bio page and page or pages that are stamped when entering my fiancee's country and when she visited me here in the US. Which one is correct? I am the US Citizen petitioner and my fiancee and I have gathered all the necessary documents and are prepared to submit the application for my fiancee K1-visa. We don't want to make a mistake because if denied, we lose the money paid. Any information regarding the photocopies needed for the submittal with regards to the passport (she and I) will be appreciated. Thanks! Hector

Yes. It happened with me the same. My Fiance is an American by birth. We have been knowing each other past 4 yrs. We got engaged in 2019. We met twice. Once in 2018 and next 2019. By the time he wanted to apply for the K1 the 2 yrs meeting got lapsed cuz of his strict job profile. He met me again in 2021 in November. He met my parents too. So now we have hired an attorney for the K1. Let's see what happens. I have lot of patience to wait.. Wish you good luck.

No , basically you need to file the petition within two years of meeting each other ,e.g . You dating for 6months , so within those 6 months of meeting each other u end up being eligible . But lets say You dating 6 months and never saw each other for 2 years or sum like that , you end up hurting your petition . Idk if that helped ..

Hello; I need help. I have already planned and prepared to meet my finance from Myanmar and to get engaged in 2020. However, the plan was canceled due to the Covid restriction and military coup that is happening in Myanmar now; therefore we cannot meet in person and engaged it. however, We both got engaged online through video calling and got accepted to get married. Alongside that, both my fiance and my parent were there when I engaged my fiance to marry me and it did go very well. We mostly spending our time on calling, video calling. Due to what is happening in Myanmar now, I don't feel safe for her living there because the military has been killing so many innocent people and I do not feel safe for her and I really want to bring her to the U.S as soon as possible. my question is, can I still call my fiance in the U.S without meeting her in person? Plus, Since I am a college student in the U.S; I do not have an income salary, however, my parent had agreed to take responsibility for our marriage or for co-sponsor.
