Less than $200 mods 1. spacers. 2. Stabilizer kit for steering. 3. New dash cause the old ones always shatter. 4. New dash bezzle. 5. New seat covers. 6. Backup cam.

Hey I need HELP just bought a 00 2nd Gen 4x4 auto with a 318 in it and it will start sometimes and others it won’t and then if you let it sit for 20 minuets it will fire right up and the od time it will start and run like it’s only firing on 4 cylinders.

Does the reverse lights work on your third brake light? I did mine and they do not. My old one never worked either tho

I have a 2nd gen it’s the same in the rear but the front uses a coil springs up front

I got a 95. Ram 1500 4x4 single cab short bed with a 3 inch rough country lift so I have a total of 6in lift because all the 2nd gen 4x4 trucks are 3 inch from the factory. And it does alright with a bigger tire. But the stock 5 lug wheel hubs hate big wheel and tires. So I want to get the Dana 60-80 2500 axles under it

Good morning/afternoon, well I have a 2011 that I have since I was stationed in fort Jackson SC. This puppy have been put to use, bought it in SC in 2013 with 50k and now it has 198974 in it. She’s still kicking and just back from Disney for the second time with no problem. But I want it to convert to 4x4. What is your suggestion, I just retired from the military, doing this project and want to keep it for long term. Let me know and so far y’all are the only one that I found that talks about ram.

An idea for a under $300 mod is the OEM style seat covers that Geno's Garage just came out with and new cushion. I just did mine and it looks like factory new seat bottoms.

I got my OEM replacements for like $70 on ebay. Same exact material.

Does the bumper come with the plastic bottom. Shows on amazon without it?? Thanks.

What the back bumper name?

that leveling kit is not a body/ "hockey puck" lift. It's just a coil spacer. the "hockey puck" lifts are little round body lift blocks that go between the body mounts.

Cheap way to level a 1500 is 2500 springs in the front from a junk yard, leveled mine perfect

Love the tow mirrors. Could you share link or a do a video on them?

Nice dodge, I have had my 2nd Gen for 19 years and it's been very reliable with a 318, but The dash board and all the plastic under it is giving out bad, is there any good mods for the dash boards?

They have dash board covers that are a thin plastic piece, get that and throw a cover on top of the dash and you're solid. Been rebuilding my new-to-me 96 12 Valve.

I have a dash cover that has the same material as the bottom of a rug if that makes sense. Looks pretty nice and it was pretty cheap.

It cranks but no start let it sit for a bit like 20 min and it will start ????? NEED HELP

Can you still use stock height shocks with the block leveling kit at 2.5inch. ??

Ok.. but I have replaced rear leaf to much newer ones ..front coils are original..and my front sits 4 to 4.5 inch low in the front ?

Everything for looks, guess I’m more of a mechanically sound guy rather than looks

Air horn/intake and a grid heater delete. Change the intake piping too.

RayFire51 all u need to do is wash them off every 2 weeks and ur good. But if u live in Michigan like me it’s hard to do because of the salt but I been keeping my truck rust free since I got it and was rust free before I got it to.

Nice older Dodge trucks there. Just some observations and I know these are past the $200 mark: - 3/4 ton RAMs w/ powerful diesel motors w/o a hitch to t-o-w anything = looks, over function, of what a truck is to be? - Cool wide tires, but no fender flares or possible mudflaps to keep from hitting other motorist's vehicles w/ debris? Nice mention of the tint as I wanna do that to the 1998 RAM that I got here. Good video & thank you for the great under $200 mod. ideas!

@@7ThrillFishing which honesty you decide what brand and how dark you want it. And you don’t have to hear the “oh we don’t have it” or the “that’s too dark try this one”

Both levelling kits are suspension lifts. Those are not hockey puck lifts. Hockey pucks go under your body mounts on the frame. 2 under rad, 4 under body and 6-8 under the box depending on short box or long box.

I'll pass on the tint. Have you tried to back out of a parking spot at night in the rain. You can't see shit with tint.

Anybody need a hard plastic molded dash cover or bezel? Look up/Google "COVERLAY" , runs around $200.00 Why,why better than carpet , looks like factory dash!!!!

The first 2 should not and are not considered "mods". They're just puttin lipstick on a pig. The last 1 is is entering the world of mod-ing. 1st-2nd-3rd Gen fan here though.
