If he wasn't interested in making money, he went on the wrong show. Since he is clearly not a businessman, the fact that he went to water companies at all shows that he's not, he should simply patent the idea and then license it out. The better money it makes, the more households it will go to.

They only do a few of these a day and it’s an all day event, then that is condensed to the 30 minutes an episode. So the dragons “dishing it out” is after several hours of listening to something they know is bullshit

First guy 100%, in Australia they have two buttons, one for full flush one for half flush.

Crazy how times have changed...saving water is such a priority now its crazy. Felt sorry for the man, he was defensive but that's because he had passion and it got misenterpretated. I don't know what research was available at the time but I feel if he had suggested future figures of population and how much water we have globally, could've ended differently.

I love how it is acceptable for the dragons to insult the pitch giver all they want but get all offended when somthing is said back to them. True definition of stuck up deluded rich people 👍

The dragons here basically proved they have one dimensional social skills. None of these people were prickly, just misunderstood and didn’t fit their stereotypical paradigm

Doug Richard. He's one of the worst dragons ever. Invested in very few entrepreneurs, bad attitude, and then in real life he turned out to be a creep (hooked up with a 17 year old "woman" when he was 57).

I could. He's asking them to invest money and returns are what is important to them. Right or wrong, that is the situation. If she has the impression that he's not all that bothered by the business side, the side that will make this a worth while investment, then that's the right question to ask.

Totally agree with Peter Jones about the last guy. If I was pitching a business to a group of multi-millionaires, I'd be visiting a tailor first for a perfectly cut suit! Even if I couldn't afford that, I would at least hire one for the day. I can't believe how many people show up looking like they're heading straight to the pub for a pint afterwards.

The first guy was really good. Save water and save consumers, hotels and several other businesses money. It's do-it-yourself install. It's amazing. How did the dragons not get that?? Wow bizarre. They weren't very nice or polite either. They were even vulgar.

Yes, money makes things happen but there's absolutely no reason to denigrate the pitch-maker personally. The other thing I have yet to see from any of the dragons, is for at least someone to say, it's a good product and a good design and even though it will take time and effort to sell, I believe it will do so in course of time, and for that reason I'm going to make an offer.

Btw the reason they refused the 2nd pitch is crap. Nobody in an actual investment opportunity actually has to remember the figures. They just have them written down. The only reason people have to remember them is only cause this is a TV show and not the real deal. I am sure not many people know that after the show is done it's not like they just give the money and that's it. They actually have to go through a due diligence process and verify the infos and actually sign the contracts. I am sure that there are LOADS of contracts that do not make the end even though on the tv show a dragon seems to have invested, just cause of the due diligence process failing. That is the real moment when numbers are consulted and I'll tell you what, nobody has to remember them. In fact they want to see the figures written by the accountant. Nobody is going to trust you saying some random numbers and claiming to remember. So the dragons looking so irritated for the entrepreneurs not remembering the figures is absolute nonsense. They all know the numbers will be verified after the show ends.

Culture clash? It’s been available in the States since the 1990’s. I remember so many people and hotels having it. Except this guy’s version is unnecessarily complicated.
