My 94 starcraft sf14(bought used) has wooden floor and transom... still in tack. While this isnt usual, if taken care of should last a long while

Question. Would the number 1 boat be able to tackle larger lakes like Lake Michigan?

There is no number 1 boat. There are good brands and not-so-good brands. Fit, finish, strength, and build quality vary a lot between brands. Stamas, Bertram, Grady White, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, are all decent brands. You need to know what you want the boat to be used for (fishing, cruising, party boat, diving, etc.) and go from there. Oh, and you need a budget.

Just a quick question can these boat be on salt water?

Best to check with the manufacturer. I happened to have just read the Lowe website on this. They say their boat is not designed for saltwater use, but that it may be OK in brackish waters. It is not built to the structural standards of offshore boats. They also recommend fully rinsing the boat with freshwater after every use in saltwater.

@@Instynctofficial I read somewhere that there is a good chance the boat market will crash next year. Demand went up like crazy during covid, but now it's slowing. Hopefully prices come back down.

@@Severris yea really wish so were eying the Lowe boats but 26k and with minimum features is insane

1st I like this series of videos, however this one sucked, You teased that you would tell us what you learned since you bought the tracker, and what you would do different, but you never cover that, other than not giving the tracker a spot on the list, so why not tracker? I also think you rated the same boat twice, the two rangers are the same boat you yourself say so it’s merely a different option package, and I would say the side console vs tiller is a bigger difference than the ten horsepower, in my opinion. So your #2 boat should have been a side note on #1 that you can save a couple hundred bucks if you can live with less horsepower and a tiller.
