I have 2 KastKing Combos and a 5000 size spinning reel for my surf rod. The Crixus casting combo has lasted 3 seasons, and I have enjoyed it so far. The Crixus spinning combo has also been great. I use it for both bass and for fluke fishing in salt water and the salt definitely affects the reel, but i also havent cleaned or lubed it in 3 years. The 5000 megatron has pulled in striped bass, bluefish, and a few 65+ sting rays in the surf no problem. Its on its second season, and i think its last. I will probably replace it after this year, but for $60 im super happy with it. Just thought i would throw my 2 cents in there. Thanks for the video!

Yeah 😂 must agree you lost me too. About 80% of boats are riveted ; 20% welded so don’t loose it because it’s riveted … 😂😂

Could you elaborate on why you believe the Lowe is higher quality than the Alumacraft other than the interior finished welds. I really like the Alumacraft because it seems to have a significantly wider front deck than majority of its competitors. Just trying to get some more insight

All I’m saying is there is science to riveted boats and energy transfer properties welded boats do not offer the energy transfer between panels which can stress crack aluminum welds and plates JS do some more research

So you are judging and entire line of reels because you have used two, seriously??? I stopped watching a few minutes into the video because there is no sense listening to a kid in front of his daddy's bass boat talking about a brand he knows nothing about. Of course the KK reels aren't going to last as long as a Shimano costing 8 times more, why would you even consider this being the case? Then you talk about the reel still working fine but the paint doesn't look pretty after a couple years. I could go on about other nonsense you're spewing but that would mean I would have to torture myself by watching more of this video. I currently have a couple dozen reels, from expensive Shimano DC reels to less expensive KK & Piscifun reels. They all work, they all put fish on the stringer, hell mine even still look pretty because I take care of my tools. I look forward to your next video comparing your 1989 Hyundai Excel to your daddy's Lamborghini, lol!!!!! Give yourself a few years and you will understand my comments, maybe? Also, science proves that everything precieved as reality happens a bit before its precieved through the 5 sense to be filtered and understood. It would make sense that the information was Predetermined AND was written prior to the action😊. Many steps taken before we even registered it.

u meant the libert experiment ,well the experiment itself says it has nothing to do with the concept of free will ,it only says the timing of our desicions and the scientist libert himself supports free will becuz of this ,and he also said thtllibertarian free will asserts that individuals have the ability to make choices that are not completely determined by prior causes. It suggests that we can act independently of deterministic influences, allowing for genuine, undetermined decision-making based on our own reasons and desires. This concept challenges deterministic views by proposing that human agency involves a degree of autonomy and responsibility for our actions. by the experiment and its proven too so yeah :) free will exists but its just narrowed down by other external factors:))) peace

Alumni Craft manufacturer said that welded deep V boats don’t expand like riveted boats in rugged water and is subject to crack. Commercial aircraft’s and fighter jets are riveted.

just a FYI buddy the Live Well is suppose to continue to fill up with water and drain some. The reason is to keep the water fresh and keep your live bait alive.

I have Lew’s, Shimano and Diawa and I think the Lew’s is smooth as silk just like the Shimano and Diawa, I have the Shimano SLX DC and a Diawa Tatula TWS and they are great reels but I like my Lew’s just as much!

If I planned on fishing by myself mostly on budget I would have bought the classic. The classic is a great boat for anyone who wants to fish, even small tournaments. I opted for the 175 TXW because it's a little bigger but the price difference is $10k more and I don't see $10k in upgrades on my 175 TXW. The 195 TXW is where you actually start to see the significant upgrades when compared to the Classic but that's "roughly" $20k more than the Classic and "roughly" $10k more than the 175. If you're looking for a beginner boat with enough room for 2 adults that weigh 180lbs-220lbs each, you'll want the 175 or 195 for a wider, longer and much more comfortable boat. To each their own. Get what you need for what you're going to use it for. Fish don't care about expensive boats, rods/reels and lures (I watched a video of a guy catching a 30lb fish using a 3/8 crescent wrench.) They do make a difference if you're interested in tournaments (might want to look into fiberglass boats) but for the average weekend warrior, you can't go wrong with most of Trackers aluminum boats. You'll always end up adding upgrades anyways.... Regardless if your boat costs $15k or $70k.

What a tool. Extrusions, twin plating, composite transoms and a lifetime warranty on riveted seams is what makes Lund the finest aluminum fishing boat. How's the warranty on a break that occurs along side of your welded seam?

I actually "prefer your OPEN FACE spinning reels", Thanks for teaching this technique! sir I HAVE TRIED IT ALL. the pencil in the box, laying the spool on the floor etc. etc. you can actually do this on a boat while you're "rocking and reeling". Your TRICK is by far the BEST!

Growing up my Dad bought a Pro 17 in 1994 when i was 14, hard to believe im 43 now. They were still rivited hulls back then and i almost prefer them. Had 5 chines riveted to the bottom that took a beating we hit stumps, rocks, etc for 12 years and never had an issue. Lots of memories on that boat. Enjoy this time with your Dad, it goes by much too quickly.

I have the same boat and agree with everything you touched on. The only thing I would add is that the trailer and wheels are going to rust. Mine has only been in freshwater and I've had to repair rust on the tongue hinge after only 2 years . My last Tracker was 20 years old when I sold it and never had rust on the trailer but the wheels had to be replaced because of it.

Lund doesnt use wood anymore. Its a special polymer lund is a way better boat than tracker.

Is it better than the ABU Garcia STX or the Max Z did the black max be replaced with Max X as the new model the Max X is $50 at Walmart but the STX is $25 more for the combo medium heavy size 40 reel ⁉️🤔 like the medium heavy rod for power for Swimming bait's and grass punching medium rod I have broken them on grass just trying to get the fish out of the grass. Nice review on the black Max. Me I like 5+1 bearing's for the best reeling in just me.
