I always said " Why are these crabs so expensive?" Until I watched Deadliest Catch, I never questioned the price again! These guys put their lives on the line every time they go out! Whenever I eat them or even see them for sale, it reminds me of the people who braved the seas to catch them. I hope all of them are safe. Thank you 💗

The US Coast Guard who serve in the Bering Sea area are amazing. They are some of the hardest, well trained and professional people on Earth. What they do is save lives, and they do it well. They perform their duties with impressive precision and seem to do it without consideration for their own safety, their focus is saving OTHER lives. It's a bit strange that when the Coasties come board a crab boat for a safety check or whatever that they are treated as a nuisance yet if something goes gravely wrong in the middle of the Bering Sea, the Coasties can't get there fast enough.

@@samh2023 lol dude it still happens frequently... Even when the coast guard are called immediately. Every year there are hundreds of accounts of unknowns, when it comes to boats. Some of them you can even see on the youtube channel Coast Guard Florida series.. There are two episodes where a Mayday SOS is called and the boat is never found, with Coast Guard searching days. Only for the boat to be found days later with no one on board and no clue of what happened. Some of these situations can be attributed to people who are unknowledgeable about their own boat, or the ocean in general, who get in a storm, or see their boat taking on a bunch of water and think it's going to sink, and abandon it in a life raft after calling Mayday. They are then separated from the boat, not found, but the boat is found later intact. There are hundreds of cases like this as well where the people are then found days later after their boat, and that was the situation. THen you've got hundreds more where the boat is found and no soul on board with no clue what happened.

Capt Wild Bill should call and consult with the Coastguard to place that Kelly character under Ships Arrest. The guy exhibits psychopathic behavior. representing a threat, and danger to the Ship, Capt and Crew by his unreasonable demands, argumentativeness, and anger. He could resort to vengeful harmful conduct, seen by his behavior, and demeanor. He should be put under Ships Arrest, handcuffed, locked in his quarters until the Ship Docks. Then handed over to the Police.

that's what he would like.....better to make him do something he doesnt want to do. If Kelly becomes aggressive the "boys" could take care of him....... either way hand him over to cops for psych eval after they get back to shore!!!!
