I just got myself a 2020 Ram 1500 BH Night Edition, and I'm super stoked about it! I've already done some upgrades, like putting in a Jay Greene tune, CAI, iridium spark plugs, MSD Blaster coils, and Dan the Fastman throttle body. My next upgrade is the Stainless Works long tube headers with their legend exhaust, which I'm really excited about. After that, I'm planning on getting the 6.4 ported intake manifold. I tow constantly with my truck, boat and lawn trailer. I’ve seen where people recommend shortys for low end tourque. Speed isn’t really a major concern. I might have to try out that tuner and 6.4

What’s up big dog getting excited to get my cam from green next month on my 2013 rt Daytona with a circle D and kooks long tubes been watching you for a min love to buy a single cab 1500 2015 after there dope . Was tired of going back-and-forth of stepping up to a 392 a hair but the price is so crazy. My car is paid for computers don’t need to be unlocked decided just to keep my car I love the shape in the lines in the 13s so completely building the engine with newer parts so we’ll probably be refreshed so I’m happy with that.

A custom tune is a must! I’ve had all my gm trucks and cars custom tuned but my 5.7 hemi responded better than any vehicle I’ve had. It was worth every single penny I paid.

Oil catch can so can get full octane in fuel and no oil in intake manifold. Especially considering you can use a generic can at like 25 and mount it to the radiator support and run tube from the intake manifold, all in $35 or so. Then when you hit the gas and it's pulling full vacuum, you're not breathing. Crankcase vapors

I’m planning on whipple supercharging my 17 1500. I was wondering if you have any suggestions towards a boost oriented build. Whipple is coming out with a 3.0L for the rams in about 3-5 months

Interested in getting some mods for 22 ram limited, the limited is a few hundred pounds heavier than the other trims because of the air suspension and finishes. It’s brand new, so I don’t think the 64 intake manifold is an option, also at this time I don’t want it super loud, just need some more power out of it. Thinking long tube headers, exhaust, intake, coil packs, tuner.. what are your thoughts? You did not mention exhaust in your top three, if you put on Long tube headers, are you bolting that to the stock exhaust?

I have a Durango 5.7. Did the 270 cam and picked up over 100whp. Not kidding. So I would recommend that upgrade for the heavier 5.7 vehicles.

Cam is by far the best upgrade but it's not a bolt on or that would be number 1

what is the name of the cam kit you got for your Ram or which one do you recommend?

Will the 6.4L intake manifold work on 2005-2008 5.7 Hemis? And what about a 6.4L cam shaft swap on a 05-08?

I have a 2013 outdoorsman it has a single exhaust would I still be able to put in the long tube headers or no?

When I bought my 2013, fist thing I did was install an S&B cold air intake, 48mm throttle body, and tuned with an Edge tuner. I’d like to install long tube headers. Can’t go catless. Have to pass inspection.

I have a muffler delete and just installed arh with cats its ridiculous loud . What muffler would give a deep bass feeling in the chest . Its way too raspy and highpitched . Also I couldn't believe the diffence in power and sound lol .

The victor 2 is amazing if you are running big cubes or Boost.

Too many different tuners with pre-tunes which one do you think has the best one or any source you know of that proves any.

The Ram 2500 6.4L air box will fit the 5.7L 1500 if switching to the 6.4L intake. Only difference between the two is the top and the hose.

I had that setup when I was na. It ran better with the bigger tb the gains are very lil compared to another Ported tb especially on an na setup. Boosted setup the hellcat tb is much better

Porting will get you very minimal gains if any imo

When you say a “custom” tune. Can you elaborate? I have an 06 ram with a superchip flashpaq back in 2012 I installed it with a 91 performance tune built in to the tuner. I’ve also made my own adjustments on the gears etc. so is that a custom tune or do you mean someone with knowledge to install a tune from a tune shop based on mods? Do you know if it’s beneficial to buy a newer model superchip for a 06 ram at this point ?

Yes a custom is a tuner that will modify the tune for your mods and will adjust the tune via data logs so you can get the max performance out of the vehicle

Yea it’s specific to your area, altitude and gas octane to get the most from your car specifically.

Man o man you’re killing me. Just installed Mopar Performance Cold Air Intake, JBA Competition Longtube Headers, and dual exhaust with Magnaflow muffler. Loving the growl and power gains. Throttle body on the 6.4 n 5.7 are identical. Best cold intake imo is the s&b cold air intake for the 2500 to match the 6.4 intake

Best mods is there when you buy the truck. Locking rear diff, with 3.92 gear Quad cab not crew for weight reduction. You dont have to play catch up. 18 inch rims not 22s. Thats if you want to be quick off the line. Turning oversize rims requires more power to get them moving due to inertia You can do taller tires instead.

So I bought myself a 2021 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Big Horn back in December. This is my first ever pick up truck that I’ve ever had. I’m thinking of ways to get more horsepower out of my engine such as putting on a cold air intake and a new exhaust (possibly a cat back exhaust). Up until last week, I never knew you could add a supercharger to a 5.7L Hemi V8 in a Ram pickup until I stumbled upon one of your videos in my suggestions. Now I’m really thinking about adding a supercharger to mine at some point in time. I know this might sound like a stupid question, but putting a supercharger on my engine would void the warranties that I currently have, right? I figured if I had to, I could wait until all my warranties run out before I do that since superchargers are expensive as well. What would you do in this situation if you had a brand new Ram truck and was in the position that I’m in?

I made the mistake at getting short headers, I was like you, not sure we're to start. Get the long headers, myself purchased the Diablosport i3tuner wasn't sure what I was doing, caught on, but I have a 2014 so didn't need to send in my pcm, cause they need to unlock before you can even begin. Do do any major modes till your warranty runs out. If you want you can buy peddle command, increase take off buy 30% easy to install. Don't get flowmaster cat back exhaust, that I purchased buy magnaflow exhaust way better sound. Don't remove your catalytic converters, till warranty gone, the replace them with magnaflow catalytic converters. Some places ther not required, just saying. If you do decide to get a hand held tuner, etc remember you need to run on 91 or 93% fuel. Hope that helps. This is a great channel to watch lots of nuggets.

What oil do u run? What gear do you have in the rear? Did you change ring and pinion? I'm about to start upgrades on my 12 ram which is why i ask. Also do you re tune after each upgrade? Might seem like a dumb question but i genuinely want to know. I also just picked up a 6.4 skat challenger 6 speed manual & want to know where i should start on that monster. It's a fucking blast to drive.

Go with ARH headers or stainless works
