On carnivore for a month. Brain fog, gone. Joint pain, gone. High blood pressure, gone. Clothes, loose. Energy, high. I love this way of eating and can't see stopping. I loved to eat carbs before, but I don't crave them any longer. It almost seems to good to be true, but I'm going to do this because I'm 51 and it's added fun to living again. Thanks for the videos, Laura. :)

Thank you Laura! On May 1st 2021 I 55 years old, and 430 pounds with an A1C of 13+, neuropathy, foot and eye problems and on 6 meds for diabetes and HBP. Today I am 295 pounds, off all meds, A1C, of 5.5, BP 110/70 and feel like I am 30 again! I started simply, low carb, no sugar, no snacks, then I started skipping breakfast. I then kept delaying lunch until I was eating just once a day (OMAD). The cravings were gone within weeks, but my biggest problem was digestive issues (both extremes). Changing to carnivore and taking electrolytes daily have improved this tremendously. While enjoying the improvement in my health, I was alone in the wilderness, with even my doctor pressuring me to stop!! Your videos (and Dr. Cywes) were my support mechanism, giving me the confidence to continue, and also how to effectively eat carnivore while keeping it interesting and tasty. I look forward to reaching my weight goals late this year and transitioning to two (carnivore) meals a day, the basic principles are with me for life! Many Thanks!

I've been Keto for a couple of years with great success... down 110 pounds. But I recently went carnivore and it's SO much easier! I think the biggest difference is not having to worry about side dishes! I've always been content with a plate of meat but felt like I needed to balance it with salads, cauliflower mash etc. No more. And I'm not throwing out any wasted food like I would often do when buying produce.

I am going on 4 weeks of strict carnivore diet. I eat 2 meals a day, lunch and dinner. I went to FL for vacation last week and every meal was carnivore. My husband is doing this with me and we did not cheat one time. We ate a lot of Ribeye's cooked on the grill at our airbnb! We eat all meats, eggs, grass fed butter, bacon, but mostly beef. I have lost 12 pounds, many inches off my waste, no more IBS, No cravings, my skin is clearing up, no more hair falling out like crazy!--ITS STOPPED!! Thank you so much Laura, you are changing lives. I had heard of carnivore over the past year with doing keto but thought it sounded ridiculous that people didn't eat fruits and veggies. Fast forward to figuring out that after eating certain fruits and veggies my palms of my hands would turn red and get super itchy. I thought it was the meat until I tried carnivore as an elimination diet as an experiment. I am down 25 lbs. and the list of ailments and pain that has been eliminated is mind blowing! I began 19 days ago. Down about 15lbs. 175lbs to go. I'm 6'2" and going to get to 225lbs. Transitioned from keto to carnivore. Love it. The results so far in so many areas are amazing, and appeared quickly. One of the things I do is go to my butcher and buy beef fat, what they've trimmed during morning butchering. I buy about 5lbs a week. It's amazing how much meat they leave on the fat. I divide it up into 1lb packages. That lasts about 2 days. I cut it up into little cubes and fry it. If I get hunger pains, a little beef fat takes care of it, and it's so tasty, at least to me.

The carnivopre diet saved my life. I was actually just "moderately overweight", so I lost only 15 kg approx., but the point is that I had very deep depression with suicidal thoughts. Since I follow the carnivore diet however, I have no any psychological problem... My energy is sckyrocketed, I have better sleep, better dreams, improved fantasy and mental focus, no itchy skin anymore, no backpain, less irritability, more muscle strength... And the result became even better since I switched to the RAW carnivore diet! That is, I eat the meat and fat and organs (brain, liver, kidney, etc) RAW!

I went Keto/ slowly carnivore about 3 years ago, for over a year, to help my pain and inflammation associated with Endometriosis. I stopped because I finally felt great, but never did it for the weightloss aspect. Now about 2 years later, eating a standard American diet, lowish carbs but not low enough, and I'm in the most pain of my life with inflammation all over. Starting again, realizing it can't be a short term goal, I'm glad to have your channel as a resource. I agree with the stigma and carnivore not being widely accepted. People are always confused when they see that I don't have the weight to lose and assume that's why someone would choose this lifestyle. It's helps heal me personally and many others. Thanks for having a platform and safe space online for people like me.

You hit the nail on the head. This is not a diet but a lifestyle. You don't think to yourself, "I stopped ingesting poison and things got better. Now that I'm better, I can go back to the poison." Realize that the "normal" diet that has been pushed on us does not have the benefits they say it does, or at the very least, it is not optimum. And although people can do well on a vegan diet because the body is so adaptive and phenotypes are different, I believe most people will thrive on carnivore.

while you were talking, I had the thought that what tracking does is focus on eating. For me, I need to not focus on eating. That's where I've been . . . it's all about food. I want to eat only when I'm hungry and I want that to take a MINIMUM amount of time. Two 15 minutes eats per day is plenty for me. Having quick go to's in preparation makes me really happy. A quick cook, and a satisfying eat that I don't have to dwell on is where I live. I love it.

Laura...thank you for underscoring that while the carnivore diet is "simple" it certainly is not "easy". Not for me. I have been eating *primarily* carnivore for at least six months. I still fight with my sugar addiction and it is a constant struggle which I still give in to 2-4 times a week. Consequently, I have not lost weight. I know I HAVE to quit sugar in order to lose pounds with this high fat meat diet I love, but I have yet to master control with that. I know it is not fatty meat keeping me from losing this extra 40 pounds I carry around, it is sugar that is keeping me overweight. Because of you, Dr. Barry and others I believe in the benefits of the carnivore diet but my sugar addiction keeps me from total dedication. With every video you put out you are reminding me that I CAN get away from the destructive power of sugar. Please keep posting these videos...you are my greatest hope I will be able to overcome my weakness for sugar in the long run. Thank you so much.

Laura dear, thank you for another inspiring video! With pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, insulin resistance, & being obese class 2, I started Carnivore eating over three years ago. I could go for short spurts of being strict but always fell down when my carb addictions took over. I got discouraged because even when I was very strict on Carnivore I never lost any weight. I know it is up to me to keep on and never give up because people like you and Bella, Mikhaila, Kelly, Charlene, Amber, Shawn, Dante, and others you know of, show me that this is the way to great health. I have tried all the other ways... seven years vegetarian, then vegan, then fruitarian... but never get the weight off and never feel wonderful... I am not sure if it is because of my age of 76, or my condition of having Pituitary Dwarfism that could be factors in this, but it has not been at all easy for me. I need to lose weight more than anything because I still have to work hard physically to earn a living. Meat is getting very costly these days, but I am more determined than ever with your inspiring story and videos like this one. The photos of your family especially are so inspiring! Wow! Thank you so much...

Pair intermittent fasting (watch Dr Jason Fung for information) with carnivore. It helps with weight loss and reduces your meals which saves you money, but don’t starve yourself. We get beef from the butcher which we render and add to the meat and use for cooking eggs and satiates you quickly, so you eat less meat.

I just watched this last video as I was feeling very depressed over "falling off the wagon" again! You have newly inspired me. I have never gone totally carnivore and don't think I can do that yet. However, you have inspired me to put maybe 3 days a week into my plan for carnivore and I will hope that that will work well enough to be a positive way to maybe add more days of it and that it will work to get some stubborn weight off. I am also very inspired by your mom's videos and success. I am in her age group and have hesitated to go with carnivore or fasting because of fear that I might impact my health. Please keep up your videos-they are so encouraging and informative. You are very good at the explanation and motivation. Thank you so much. And please add more with your mom if possible.

Your story is very interesting and comforts me in believing that diet is very specific and will vary depending on who you talk to. My boyfriend is very much a carnivore and could easily only eat red meat everyday and if he doesn't eat enough meat, he doesn't only feel weaker but he also doesn't look as healthy as he should be. On the contrary, I have never digested meat very well and I can tell my body is "naturally" more vegetarian and when not eating meat, that's how I feel my healthiest, my skin glows, I lose weight etc. So it fascinates to see how your family got healthier on this diet ! Thank you for sharing it and I also appreciate how you are not "shoving" your diet into people's faces, I can tell you are very much just sharing it as a tool to help whoever would be happy to try ☺️

Laura ty so much for your videos. I transitioned from a strict clean keto way of eating to Carnivore. I've been carnivore for 11 months now. When I went full on carnivore any cravings I still had completely disappeared for me within three weeks. I was always more of a savory person who loved biscuits, crackers, potatoes, potato chips. I was a carb addict - All of that honestly disappeared. Any thinking person knows that it's not animals which are destroying the planet - that is utter nonsense. As far as doctors or any other human - I honestly no longer care since spending so many hours seriously researching nutrition. My weight loss has been slow - but i've lost 70 lbs in the last year and am 5 pds from my final goal. I should include that when I started this journey, I had T2 Diabetes, High blood pressure, diagnosed with A-Fib, aches, pains, and a patch of psoriasis on my elbow that bothered me for years. - ALL of these conditions completely reversed, I take no prescriptions now, and i've had no problems. I am 66 y.o. - I hope to remain Carnivore forever because it has made a believer out of me. My great fear at this point is what is going on in the world with meat prices and the push by government agencies and so many others pushing for a vegan way of eating.

This was fantastic, Laura. Your best yet (and I like them all!) I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else talk about the grieving. Spot on. Especially for abstainers!! I think it’s all so important for those new and old to CV to hear. It was a bit of an A-Ha moment for me and I’ve been at this a few years. I’m 59 and about 2.5 yrs strict CV (and was ketovore for 8 yrs prior. I’ve reached my goal and maintained a weight loss of over 100 lbs for the first time in my life!) Things change all the time, it is different for everyone, and it’s hard in the beginning to read your body’s signals. And it takes time, commitment and sometimes resilience to become at peace with “the worst things” about it. Thank you for always putting yourself out there for us, Laura, and especially for keeping it real. (Love the CATG podcast too!!! Seriously my fav of all I listen to!)

Thanks so much for your insights, Laura! It’s great to hear from someone who has benefited from this way of life in so many ways, in addition to weight loss. I’m only three days in with Carnivore but already my stomach issues have disappeared…issues brought on by eating processed low carb food. Those sugar alcohols get me every time. 🙄 So many people who’ve commented are having such great success. Very inspiring!

You have helped me so much and I am here at this point because all the info you put out there. My cravings are gone and my mental health is amazing. I think what finally stuck with me is when you said on your podcast that your addiction is always looking for a loop hole. That stuck and I decided I didn't want to look for any more loop holes. Thank you, Laura. Everything you said really resonated with me. Your videos have been my inspiration for doing the primarily carnivore eating. I won’t call it a diet, because it is a way of health for me. I started keto last August and in February we went on vacation to an all inclusive resort and the only thing I could eat was meat. I came home and had lost 4 pounds and felt amazing. I have kept it up since then. I am pretty much at maintenance, so weight loss is not my primary goal. I am 65 years old and I DO NOT want to be on the yo-yo roller coaster any more. Carnivore makes me feel in charge of my health, carb addiction, and my life. Again, thank you for your videos.

I have struggled for 2 years now with chronic lyme and rocky mountain spotted fever. I gained 30 lbs in a year.. I have begun exploring this way of eating. So far 2 things...I lost 7lbs initially but have stalled out. However, I have learned that I definitely feel better, like you the more simple I keep my food the better I feel. I'm still experimenting trying to figure out how this will work for me. Also, I have alpha-gal, I have had accupuncture that now allows me to eat meat! Took three times but so worth it.

Today alone have heard now 3 KZread "personal" channels on Keto-Carnivore way of life, yours and two others, and it is just amazing how all 3 of you are echoing many snippets of my very experiences of my past and now the ones similarly am experiencing in the mere 42 days since I started myself on the Keto Carnivore path. I am loving it! Genuinely honestly said! So many good things are occurring almost nearly daily from about my 3rd day out starting, or [things] are now in transition occurring, health wise and for certain mindset and improving cognitive functioning. Attitude is greatly improved. Yes, I do hope others plug in to yours and the other voices out their who might benefit them if but for the one nugget of truth or inspiration of hope for whatever health wise this Keto-Carnivore way might benefit them......as I heard Dr Ken D Berry say, ...just give it a try for 90 days.... (paraphrasing and shortened full message I heard). That was my lynch pin, to give this Keto Carnivore thing 90 days to see what might happen. And understand, I wasn't searching for the new fad diet for the new year or the best diet craze. I burnt out on them years ago. No, wasn't searching at all for a new diet. I was just searching for what Keto was about "word meaning" as it is the new buzz word on a lot of food labels and I simply had no idea what it supposedly meant. And even today, I am cautious when seeing something labeled Keto or Keto friendly, as marketing has a way of crafting and word-smithing in a linguistic way to say something while rings true you still may not want any part of it in your own diet. Kinda like saying nitrite free on hot dogs or bacon and it is instead labeled having celery extract or the best one "other all natural flavorings and ingriedients. Yet very same as was before. But with Keto carnivore it is simple and pretty straight forward to do even for me as I get and have gotten acclimated to knowing my end game with this. Minimize the various dresses inflammatory issues by eliminating the very thing that causes it to occur. And thus to begin feeling and becoming healthier more alive in my own skin physically and it seems a bonus..." mentally too" ( as I swear mental clarity has improved, it is almost as though a fog lifting and you are more cognizantly back in the game, sharper in a substantive way! Great video. And like I say I am just getting started 42 days out and things that have been occurring, things almost not to be believed, but I have to, because they are happening to me! 🙃 not promises of what will happen. It has been already. Just utterly amazing. Loved your video! 🏆👍 and I hit the like and subscribed, really looking to hear more as you post future videos. As I am and have for the other two channels today. And I wasn't in search of confirmation am I doing it right. .your channel just popped up as I was scrolling other stuff and saw it, and though ahh...why not, guess I'll see what this one is about and has to say. Glad I did! Great stuff! Thank you for posting. 👌👋

Thank you for all the insight Laura! I am 56 and on day 102 of strict carnivore, meat, butter, salt and water. I occasionally eat some cheese, eggs and chicken but they do not set well with my system. To date I have lost 31 pounds and need to lose 100 more. I have never felt so good in all my life, from the INSIDE out! The transformation is very exciting. I do intermittent fasting (16 hours then eat in an 8 hour window) if I can wait longer and do OMAD (One meal a day) I will do that. My concern is that I'm not eating enough and I am stalling the weight loss process. What is your opinion? (I know you're not a doctor) - or anyone else reading this post. I have no support community, so ideas are welcomed! Thanks! Love your videos!

First of all congrats on your success and progress to date!! I’ll try to help a bit. I’ve been carnivore 2.5 yrs and was ketovore for 8 before. I’ve lost over 100 lbs (last 45 or so on carnivore). I think it’s important to know what enough protein is FOR YOU and to get enough protein MOST days of the week. There will be days you are simply not that hungry and others you can’t get enough. I wouldn’t force an OMAD but there are days it can’t be avoided too. I tried OMAD for a while, but looking into the science of it all I found two to be better for burning fat and building lean mass at the same time. I found the best success losing and maintaining by eating at least two meals a day (rarely do I want 3 but there are days!), and keeping my protein grams to about equal with my ideal body weight. (I’m 5’4” so about 120 grams). Many days I’m way over that. Sometimes I am under. I don’t track anymore since I can now eat intuitively but it helped me learn in the beginning. I also recommend looking at dairy soon. I kept it in until I felt I was ready and it helped immensely. I’ve since reintroduced it (love Laura’s recommendation about only eating it with your meal and not as a snack or in place of your meat. Also heard Dr. Anthony Chaffee on his recent video talk about using it as an occasional condiment. Loved that too!!) Hope this helps you stay the course!! You’re doing great!!!

Laura THANK YOU so much for your carnivore testimony. I stumbled upon your videos after watching Dr. Berry’s videos about the carnivore basics. The carnivore life has relieved my stomach of the bloating, gas and pain I had been experiencing for the last 5+ years. I have a lot more energy, I sleep better (side note I’m menopausal) Ive been on carnivore for only 3 weeks but I noticed that my stomach issues were better right away within the first 5 days. I haven’t weighed myself but I have lost inches around my waist, stomach and hips! My clothes fit me so much better and I don’t feel like an Italian sausage being squished into my jeans. My husband loves to grill and smoke meats so that’s a huge plus for me. I’m honestly looking forward too what my carnivore journey has in store for me. Again thank you so for being REAL in all of your videos. 🤗🤩

I've been told by doctors for years that I have metabolic disorder. They never really explained it and just said "eat low carb." I've spent hours in front of my pantry trying to figure out what products I could have that wouldn't go over a set number of carbs and then gave up. Fast forward 5 years later to February 9, 2022 I bought a blood glucose monitor and my numbers were consistently around 200. I knew I had to do something. I watched the video of your mom talking about how she healed her diabetes and that gave me hope. I don't know why with low carb I never thought of just eat meat. My plan was to ease into carnivore by starting keto but the very next day I dove into strict carnivore. I dropped 20 lbs in the first 6 weeks and my sugar has dropped back to prediabetes levels. I crave meat and wake up hungry for it. I never cared for meat in the past. I am so happy I found something sustainable and your videos have taken the anxiety in eating out. Thank you so much for those so I feel some freedom and don't feel I am restricted to a steak only or just eating at home. Please tell your mom thank you so much for sharing her story. It's truly helped to change my life. I did have to do some mental work to get my mindset right and I still run from situations that trigger cravings. I recognized I am addicted to carbs and moderation is never an option for me.
