I definitely agree with you about the rebel. In my opinion, it is the best cordless adjustable clipper I have ever used. love the gold magic clip also. I have never been a big fan of Babyliss clippers. Although the trimmers, and the shavers, I believe are the best in the game

i agree the babyliss pro clippers dont hit like magics or seniors but you cant beat the trimmers or shavers

Good list David. 👍 I use 2 Wahl seniors all metal one. A old magic clip that I put a stronger motor in. And is as powerful as a senior now but lighter.

I have the corded Senior for self fading and I wish I listened to comments on how heavy it is. Don't get me wrong it's like having a tank in your hands and it gets the job done wonderfully but it's just a tad bit too heavy for my preference and also it gets really hot so I always need to use ice in a Ziploc bag to keep them from burning my hands. Great content bro thank you!

Cordless Magic clips for me. I just can't beat the cut quality of the clippers. And let's not forget about the detailers.

I agree with The Rebel but after few months of using it, the problem happened. Not just me, but all the barebrs in our shop. all the clippers had the switch on/off defective. After reading on the web, seems that many of us seems to have the same problem. Stylecraft will need to adjust that. Otherwise its a great clipper.

Thank you for making this video, David. I am planning to buy a clipper but in my country basically only the normal "Wahl Magic Clip Cordless" is available. It comes with the (8?) attachments. The normal burgundy red/silver model. Would you say that it is still an okay decision or is the gold version much much better? Also I'd be mostly using for fading and "making clean straight lines" with my beard, not hair. Is that still an okay choice in your opinion? 😄

What did you end up getting? I'm ready to replace my old cordless magic clippers with the more powerful corded Seniors. But like you, I'm seeing reviews, which are making me think about other brands. That Stylecraft Rebel in the video looks nice, but I'm really leery about sticking with cordless. But I'm guessing they've become more powerful?

I would stay away from Andis, the quality of their clippers is the worse in the industry, at least in my opinion.

Blades are 0 gap, unscrew and increase the space between two blades. When tightening, tighten each screw a tiny bit at a time to help keep the blades straight

How many clicks does the #2 Rebel have. I have the 357 magnum and its only 3 clicks

Imo the jrl fade really well but debulk so poorly it kind of turned me off. It's pretty bad when the original magic clip debulks better. I'll still put my original fx before the jrl

@@Mike-hy8cs I mean not to sound condescending but they debulk really well if you haven't tried many others. Compared to seniors, masters, babyliss fx, low pro, apex, ergo, even magic clips and cordless fast feeds they are not great at debulking. They tend to leave hair behind and you have to do many more passes from what I've seen...even on the high speed. I own pretty much all the clippers listed including the 2020c(i have a problem I know). As far as fading they're at the top with magic clips and babyliss fx but debulking they're at the bottom imo

the clipper is like the javascript library ecosystem a pure mess everybody create their now how to choose :)

No way magic clip beats senior, magics are so slow and hard to go from senior back to magic clips. You wouldn’t get a bmw and go back to a civic would you??
