I have been a stylist for over 30 years. I have paid for classes that were less thorough than this. To make cutting the nape easier, I ask my client to uncross their legs, push their butt to the back of the chair and bring their chin to their chest. I’m trying to get an easier fade mastered so I have more of your videos to watch. Thank you.

Thanks so much Lee, there is lots of useful info o the channel including a few fade videos.
This is the most beginner friendly tutorial for your classic gents cut, and covers all your essential techniques beginner barbers will learn and apply in barber school. I've started out doing cuts in schools and am doing these kinds of cuts mostly, so this video was really helpful. Your method is pretty much identical to how I am being taught too!
I have viewed so many but failed to catch it, your illustration is so clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
I did a men's haircut for the first time - on my husband from very long to short hair and....it wasn't a fail 😃. I am so happy for your tutorial. Thank you👍

Hands down one of the most informative barbering tutorials!
Your instruction is very clear, understandable and helpful. Thank you a lot.
I just cut my son's hair using this video as guidance and it looks great. Thanks so much for this easy to follow gents haircut. I'm really happy with the results 😅
Thank you. You are the best. When covid started and all of the shops closed I discovered your channel, bought a $60 clipper and have not been to a barber since. Who knew cutting hair could be so easy, thanks to a great teacher. After several years my wife asked me to cut her hair. She said it was better than some of the pros that she had paid big bucks. They tended to always cut it shorter than she had requested. I also convinced her to let her beautiful silver hair to go natural.

Absolutely great video, well done. Probably the best and most informative one I’ve seen
Thanks for posting up the skills you have taken time out to learn. Much appreciated 🙏
Great tutorial for me. I was a barber decades ago and this cut is exactly what my son wants me to do! I haven’t cut anyone other than my family’s hair for over 30 years.😊

Thank you for an excellent detailed instruction. You are a great teacher. Your attention to detail is appreciated. You love your job. You are a skilled artist in your trade. Thank you very much. I feel more confident with the knowledge I gained from your video to try to cut my husband's hair.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you so much. Brushed up on some much needed tips to cut my man's hair. Much love!
Absolutely one the very best videos online for a regular mens HC. To the point, exceptionally educational and helpful. Most videos on social media are on skin fades which is the current popular cut especially for younger, active gents. However, the regular cut will always be timeless and is the ‘go to’ when you consider a wider age range. Thank you for all you do. You’re a classy gentleman much appreciated! Greetings from San Diego, CA.

Yeah been trying to find how to get a 1.5 and you’re the first one to explain simply put on a 1 then open it with lever to get 1.5. Thank so much
Hello 👋. Thank you for making the Gentleman’s hair cut simple. For us beginners. I have the tendency to go up to high. And than I get lost at the top. Also I have a bit of difficulty with the taper cut. Thank you. 🙏
A very very nice creation to encourage the new aspirants to follow up your hair cut style. 👍
Thank you for this tutorial. Now I feel confident I can do a good job on my son's first haircut. Little men need to look sharp too.
It is the best tutorial for beginners I have seen so far. Your instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Now I finally have a feeling, that I know exactly what to do with my partners hair. Thank you!

Used this advice today on my sons hair (he is 8 with VERY FULL hair!). Also, the instructions for the clipper made a HUGE difference in the look. BUT: I still have difficulties with the back of the head ..the occipitall rigde. The fine graduations well... are not present let´s say... I wasn´t sure how exactly to cut it :) I will do the fine tuning later because my son has some... activity issues, yet he was really patient. The problem with kids is..that they move all the time. ALSO, I had difficulties with the hair over comb ... so i did it the classical way, but with such short hair it´s tough!

8 years olds move around a lot, and can often be the hardest kinds of cuts. I've got another video I'm working on just now where I graduate from a two into a three on the occipital ridge, that might help. But to be honest you've done well, and repetition will improve your work.
Currently a first year hair stylist, starting men’s cuts and I’m scared but this video was a great help!!
Thank you bro i learned alot in a short amount of time.
Hey I’m new to this channel and just wanted to say keep it up! I would struggle with confidence and the fear of messing hair up since I’m new. You’re videos have been helping me get over that by not feeling so lost within the cut and having an idea, keep up the great work m8!

I‘ve been cutting my boys hair for years and this is basically what I do with the guideline and sections and all. But the clippers always make me nervous, your explanation about the bones/ cliff makes so much sense. I always have tried to follow the bone because it seemed the most sensible thing, so I was not far off.

Excellent. Going straight up using the parietal and occiput as a guide improved my son's haircut quite a bit. He likes it short so I just use a 1 inch on the top and then blend, but I'm looking forward to trying the other techniques some time as well. Thanks!
