I have zero hair cutting experience, last year I’ve taken a quick barbering/fading/beard trimming course, always want to refine my understanding and I believe doing a basic men’s cut like this is so fundamental. Thank you for such a clear and precise video, I can’t wait to get back to my practice model who always request a cut like this! Subscribed. : )
I’ve been cutting my husband’s hair, since Covid 2020, your video has helped me to refine my skills. Retired RN, never thought in a million years I would be doing this, could not find a barber or stylist that could make his top thinning hair to lay down better, no comb over for us, your precise technique helped me to master that area, a big Thanks Again for sharing your talent. Hello Michael. Thank you for all your videos, they are a godsend. I am returning into the cosmetology profession after a leave and gentlemen's cuts were always my weakness. I am feeling so much more motivated and confident all thanks to your very carefully, well planned, and very understandable instructions. I have every intention to supporting you after I take care of personal matters first. I hope to eventually ask you some questions and get an even more personalized lesson. Cheers, Mark
Absolutely fascinating to watch! I have been cutting my hubby's hair for 40 years....He's never been to a barber! It's mainly clipped work and I've watched lots of videos like you're to get the best finish I can. I found this the most comprehensive video I've ever watched. Thank you....great job!

I have been cutting my own hair for the past 4 years and am amazed how good it's come out. I'm self-taught (from watching my previous barber) but your videos have been very helpful. I do this cut, but have slightly thinner/less hair and leave it a bit longer on top. For the back and sides I usually just do 4 (very little comes off), 3, 2, then 1 as I go down (opening and closing the lever in between to blend). I wish I could stand behind myself to do this scissor over comb correctly! Ha. I like that it's saved me money, but I love that it's saved me time (driving to my barber, etc.)

I very rarely hop into KZread comment sections but I'm hoping you'll see this comment! @@theoneminutebarber Not yet, mate! I'm currently trying to find a voluntary placement on my days off from my kitchen day job to sweep and clean whilst watching and learning, as my skills are still pretty basic! Short Graduation, Uniform Layer and One Length Cut were what we were graded on, so Pompadours with Skin Fades are still a little way off for me yet but it'll all come in time! I didn't pick up my scissors or clippers until November so I'm still very new to it all at the moment but I couldn't have done it without your videos and guidance!
