I haven't installed a Bltouch yet, but in my experience if you get some good bed springs you bed level stays level after allot of prints.

Would love to see comparisons between your 3d printers as well as tips on getting smooth prints like the ones you achieved. I was looking to buying a 3d printer, love FDM for the strength but love sla for the quality...I wanted to print miniatures as well as practical household stuffs so it's really hard to decide...then I found your channel whom can get the best of both worlds.

They do make really strong resin nowadays. FDM doesn't have as much of a strength advantage as it used too just a few years ago.

So does the BL touch modify the G Code of the print to add or subtract the Z axis height from the original GCode to compensate for the unleveled bed? I have always wondered exactly how it adjusts.

It takes the measurements and compensates for it during printing by moving the axis

Maybe I'm alone on this but I dont get why anyone would ever ever use this product.... Personally I'd rather spend 30 seconds leveling the bed by hand than make the printer have to keep making microadjustments mid print. Seems like itd increase print times aswell as introduce multiple new reasons for a print to fail. Do people hate leveling the bed that much? I literally just eyeball it every 20 prints or so. Half the time i just adjust the nobs 1/4 turn or so mid print. Simplicity is best. No reason to overengineer it like this. Its just introducing more potential points of failure.

Can you post a video how to install it me and my dad have been trying for hours and we already scratched the bed like crazy trying and it’s super annoying

I tried automatic bed leveling some how not working, for now I use only manual bed leveling,it's easier and quicker for me.

I already ordered an automatic leveling probe yesterday. Sooner or later I will probably also order another motherboard because I noticed the stepper motor drivers are soldered to the board in my Geeetech A10M, so I can't replace them.

I want to use it for making my own creations
