Yes. Parents should have more common sense. But that airbag Tanaka are very tragic. The American population can't even maths correctly. They had a ban on Poke balls, too, because they assumed a child who is only 1 and a half years old is old enough for a 5 year + plastic ball. Of course these same idiots are too dense to read packaging that literally says and is marketing to have a "surprise" inside. Even the marketing said "surprise TOY". I, also, agree with you on the Peloton treadmill thing as well. Since treadmills have always been a thing long before Peloton, the injuries and fatalities is, again, at the fault of the consumer.

That's what I thought about the Poké Balls: _"Where the fuck were the parents??"_ You're going to let your baby play with that with no supervision whatsoever when it's clearly not meant for kids that young? But then again maybe I was just sheltered. When I was little enough that choking was a real hazard (the late '80s) my mom had a little tube that was specifically made to be the average size of a child's throat to make sure my food was cut small enough to not be a choking hazard (especially things like hot dogs), and she paid attention to my toys until she knew I was old enough to know better than to put the damn things in my mouth.

I DO understand the thing with the pokeballs, HOWEVER toys you get from burger king, McDonald's etc do tend to say that the toys aren't recommended to be given to children under the ages of 3 or 4 years old so the fact that the child that died and the one that almost did should not have been playing with or given the toys so the parents should also have checked that these BABIES weren't able to access them. As I said in the beginning I do understand they concern and people wanting them stopped and recalled because a child of 3 or 4, or even older, could also do the same thing BUT in these to incidents the toys shouldn't have been accessible to those two babies either! We're all still alive and unharmed. IMO, this was a stupid design flaw. The halves should have just had a hole in them. It would have eliminated the problem from the beginning. It's why plastic easter eggs have holes in the halves. You can't blame lack of knowledge either, as by the time the toys were out, that design aspect was already a part of other items to prevent that very thing. They shouldn't have been made without the hole and they should have been recalled and redesigned immediately. Parents should also be smarter, but, hey.

The ones involving baby products are the most heartbreaking. You think you’re doing everything right for your child, only to lose them to a popular product. Though, as a childless adult, the car recalls scare me the most. You can be in a different car, built as safe as possible, and still get hurt/killed by another malfunctioning car. It’s bad enough that there are dangerous drivers out there, let alone a car that can go out of control on its own.

As parent, why would you buy something without reading the label? That‘s just irresponsible. - Again, why would you give small toys to children *without* adult supervision? For the lead charm bracelets, blame goes to the people who produced it, however on some of these examples, these children dying because of their parent‘s lack of common sense and responsibility is to be blamed on the parents themselves, not necessarily on the toy manufacturers.
