Yeah it's annoying sometimes. Like villain can easily kill hero but instead he explain his plans to hero and then somehow hero escape. In many films villain just needs to put bullet through hero's head but villain be like why bother and tie hero up so can later kill him or tell someone else to kill hero. Then later hero gets power and kill villain.

So it is more out of fear of hitting your buddy versus being noble. TMNT 2 showed that in a comedic way when all the villains dog piled on Mikey at once and he snuck his way out. The reason no one notices yet because they are all hitting each other not knowing that they are not hitting the guy they just jumped lol.

You look both ways, and don't see a car, you walk on the street, and a massive semi-truck honks its horn and plows you, continuing to drive like nothing happened, and everyone else doesn't seem to notice. In Insidious Chapter 3, it's taken to hilarious extremes when the character is on the road long enough for the car to stop, and the character gets run over anyway. As someone who has been hit by a car 7 times (all of which were cars running through stop signs), I know how traumatizing it can be for everyone involved.

From servers to routers and other network appliances, the command line is where the power is. Keep in mind, the part of the interface that you can use a mouse on has to be designed and placed on top of the root command language. Usually, only the most common or basic commands are available to a mouse.

Trying to escape from someone driving a car by running down the centre of the road. Or running UP the stairs to escape when being pursued on foot. My personal favourite, a redshirt type character with glasses has them knocked off and becomes totally blind falling to their knees to grope around trying to find them. I wear glasses and while modern spectacles are pretty good they can't gift the blind with sight. If I drop my glasses unless it's pitch black I can still see them.

to be fair, when someone uses a terminal in a pc you usually don't use a mouse, mostly you'll use the tab button and the arrows to move while using it

I have one that really annoys me. Whenever a main character needs clothes and is at someone's house, that person's bf/brother/roommate is miraculously always the same height, weight, and shoe size as the main character.
